A month later..

My heart pounded in my chest as I paced back and forth.

I can't do this.. I can't! I'm gonna pass out!

My mind ran out of problems and scenarios and now I was bless with just panicking.

What if he's changed his mind? What if this is too much?

I kicked at the material almost tugging at my hair in frustration.

Cece had left, so worried that I was going to give birth 3 months early we were now breaking all the rules.

Zak walked in with a tie, I presumed was Aaron's over his eyes. His hands were stretched out in front of him.

"Roo? Baby?" He asked sliding his dress shoe door across the floor carefully.

"Zak." I breathed going to him instantly and grabbing his hands.

"Sweetie what's wrong?" He asked holding my hands.

"Are you absolutely sure? You want to do this?" I asked looking up at covered eyes wishing I could see them properly.

"Positive, why? D-don't you want to?" He asked as his forehead creased.

"Oh god I do. I'm just so scared."

"Of what? Becoming my wife?" He smiled gently.

If I wasn't so worried, I'd have taken advantage of his vulnerable state and undressed him out of his suit. I would have used that belt and that tie to my advantage and instead of getting married, I'd be committing all the seven sins with him on the floor.

"Of course not. Just that... I'm happy so-"

"So you're expecting something bad to happen?"

I nodded before realising he couldn't see me. "Well, yeah."

"Listen to me. God I wish I could look into your eyes... But I'm nervous too, this is a big commitment and one I said I'd never do, but feel." He placed my hand on his chest. "My heart is as steady as ever. This is what I want. For us, for our family."

I tightened my hand in his "I love you so much."

"I know baby. Now how about we show the rest of the world, well.. At least or family and friends."

I giggled "O-okay."

"Okay." His hand dropped mine and the fear came back just as quick.

"No! No." I panicked taking his hand again.

"What's wrong?"

"Walk me down the aisle." I blurted out.

"What? I'm suppose to be at the end receiving you."

"Walk me down Zak. I don't want anyone else by my side. Please?"

"But I th-"

"Fuck any rules, when have we ever listened to them! Please?!" I stressed.

"Okay, okay. But I need to see where I am going, which means I need to see you..."

I let go of his hand and grabbed my flowers. "I'm ready."

His lips quivered a smile as he took his sweet ass time to untie the tie, only to have his eyes closed when it came away from his lids.

"This is one of the most important memories of my life. I'm physically shaking." He spoke.

As I beamed at him waiting.

I watched his hands as they were indeed shaking only adding to his honesty.

"Look at me." I whispered.

The autumn eyes met mine as he stepped back in awe. I stood there as he took me in before he let out a shaky breath.

"You're a heaven sent angel.." he whispered closing the gap between us to kiss me.

"I said look not touch." I teased as he ran his hands down my dress before holding my face.

"I can't not. My god." He whispered pressing our foreheads together.

"Think you could marry me?" I asked.

"At least 5 times a day for the rest of my life."

I grinned pulling on his jacket lapels to press a kiss on his lips.

Cece came bundling into the room and gasped. "Zak! Robyn! It's bad luck!"

He grinned "Yeah? Well I'm all for making my own luck. Come on Yates, it's time you became my wife."

We walked down the corridor and to the set of double doors. Cece shook her head and wagged her finger at us before smiling.

"You scrub up well boss, if you don't mind me say." She smiled.

"Thank you, I have a good stylist." He grinned at her.

"Told you. Waist coat finishes it off." She sang slipping in the small gap of the door to get everything ready.

"We are really doing this." I whispered gripping onto Zak's hand.

"Yes we absolutely are."

"And it's what you want?" I asked looking up at him.

"How long have I been trying to get you here?"

I smiled knowing he had tried everyday for the past month to get us to this point.

"Are you sure it's what you want? I mean... It isn't a lot." He frowned.

I smiled happily "It is exactly want I want."

He sighed shaking his head as he turned his body to me "Where have you been all my life?" He asked tucking a piece of hair behind my ear.

"Looking for you. Let's do this."

"I love you. You know that." Zak confirmed brushing off his jacket.

"Better. I'm gonna fuck the life out of you." I warned making him look at me as I giggled.

"Now I'm considering jumping straight to the after.." Zak debated.

"Gotta hold it. After all, we have consummate this marriage properly."

He gave me a nod and slapped my ass making me hiss and swat him gently.

"Are you wearing panties?" He whispered as his hand trailed my backside curiously.

"What would be the point?" I questioned lifting my brow provocatively at him.

Myself and Zak had chosen a small, discreet and private venue to get married. With only a family and friends as witnesses. I would have been happy with the white chapel but then the news of Zak Bagans getting married would go around like wildfire in the media.

"You look gorgeous." He whispered.

"Thank you. I like this tie, keep it and you can tie me up with it."

He choked on his own air before coughing through a laugh. "Kinky."

The music started and I squared myself up ready to do this.

"Hey, Zak?"

"Yes?"

"I'm leaving this hall as a Bagans."

He grinned hard "Don't I know it."

As the doors opened, we were consumed by the afternoon sun. Myself and Zak made our way down the aisle smiling at the crew, Nancy, Jim, Meredith and Zak's niece and Nephew who were already in place at the top. It pained me slightly that we didn't have more faces to look at. But it was quality over quantity and I trusted these people with my life.

As we reached the top of the aisle, I looked at the registrar and smiled.

"Ready?" He whispered looking at myself and Zak.

"I've waited 12 years. I'm not wasting another." Zak replied.

"I'm ready." I beamed holding Zak's hand a little tighter.

"We are gathered here today---"

I kept my eyes on Zak throughout the whole service. Repeating my vows with every bit of love and devotion I could muster. My heart still off its normal beat but I was beginning to put that down to him looking so good.

Before I knew it, he was frowning at me as his face went pale.

I blinked and looked around the room before looking at him. "Robyn?" He asked sounding petrified.

"Yeah?" I asked looking at him and then to the registrar. "Oh I'm sorry. I- ha, I'm getting distracted by how handsome he is."

Zak let out a sigh of relief and squeezed my hand.

The registrar repeated what he had said making me smile.

"I do."

Zak was instant with his.

We pushed on our wedding bands and Zak didn't waste a second in grabbing my face and pulling me into a kiss.

We broke apart as I looked into his eyes, "I love you."

I squealed as he scooped me up off the floor and turned to everyone as they clapped.

"Now I'm taking my wife off to celebrate!" He laughed as I giggled when Bacon and Aaron ramped it up by wolf whistling at us.

*******

"Don't tell your husband... But you're coming home with me tonight." Zak whispered in my ear making me laugh softly against him.

"Is that so?"

"Hmm.. Cause your ass in that dress makes my Weiner happy."

I sipped my orange juice laughing. "I think you've had enough champagne and beer sweetheart."

"Aaron.. He keeps-" his voice went up an octave in protest before he frowned at himself.

"Aaron keeps what? Buying them?"

"Hmm." He muttered leaning his head on my shoulder.

"I swear, he's not had that many." Aaron worried as I made eye contact.

"He doesn't drink. His tolerance is zero. But it's his own fault." I replied.

"Yeah but.. I did buy him a few.."

"It's okay." I reassured him.

"Yeah you say that now but when you both can't bow chicka wow wow later, I'll be in the shit. Shall I get him coffee?"

"No! No. No more stimulates or caffeinated drinks. I-" I looked at my shoulder to see him smiling at our wedding bands.

"I'll take him back soon."

"Sorry Robyn." Aaron replied.

"Hey?!" Zak almost shouted at Aaron sitting up. "Are you her husband cause she's coming home with me and I'm gonna fu-"

I covered his mouth "Thank you Aaron."

He laughed nervously before shooting back towards the bar.

"Hey Robyn?" Zak slurred.

"Yes darling?"

"Marry me?" He asked holding up a candle.

I blew the candle out before he burnt himself "I'm already married."

His face dropped and he pushed the candle back onto the table.

"Wh- who is he? Is he better than man me?" He asked.

How is it possible that he's getting more intoxicated?!

I watched him pick up a glass of water, my hand caught it as I glared at Aaron who lifted his hands up and pointed to Bacon.

"Okay, babe. That's vodka." I spoke moving it away as Nancy saw my problem and brought him water.

"Hey mom." He smiled lazily at her.

"Oh you're in for a treat tomorrow morning my boy. Just you wait." She giggled.

"I love you mom. I do. Uh hmm. Mom. Robyn. Robyn. She got married." He whispered nodded his head.

Her eyes shifted to me as I giggled "Lord give me strength."

"I know sweetheart and you know who too?"

"No. I'm gonna kick his ass though!" He slammed his hand down on the table in confirmation.

"She got married to you."

"He's go- me? You married me?!"

"I certainly did."

"Wait.. wait. April fools?" He guessed.

"Zak it's January."

"Heeeeeey getting it in early. Have we... you know. Lost the sausage in the hole?"

"I'm sorry?"

"Have I slipped you, the meat rod of love?" He asked smiling. His eyes were bloodshot from the alcohol.

"Oh that's my cue to leave. Good luck!" Nancy sang.

"Bye mom!" Zak waved making me pull his hand down.

"Shall we call it a night?"

"Yeah. Cause I'm gonna- what was we saying?"

"Don't worry. Come on." I stood up only to hear him gasp.

"Holy shit you're fat!"

My eyes glowered at him. "I'm pregnant dickwad."

"Oh. Hello baby." He spoke wiggling his fingers at my stomach.

I could hear Aaron laughing a mile off. I signalled 'I'm watching you.' To him and didn't fail to miss his thick swallow.

******

I pushed Zak down on the bed as he sang happy birthday to himself.. 4 months early I might add.

I took his shoes, belt and tie off before unbuttoning his waist coat.

"We gonna bang now? Before your husband comes back?"

"Now we are gonna sleep now. My husband is away."

"Awesome. Hey, shh listen, I'm a ghost hunter." He nodded.

"No you're not. You're a paranormal investigator. You don't hunt ghosts, you investigate them but you do hunt demons." I corrected him.

"Yeah. That one."

"Okay Zak let's get some sleep."

"Yeah, but I love you."

I rolled my eyes "I'm sure you do. Now just lay down. I'll be here when you wake."

"Yeah. Night night Robyn."

"Goodnight Zak."

He eventually passed out after showing me his impression of a limp fish out of the water.

Don't ask..

With his spread eagle on the bed, I yawned and cuddled into his chest. I brought his arm around me snuggled up looking at the eternity ring and wedding band in the moonlight.

******

"Urh." He coughed as I rubbed his back. "Why?"

"Well apparently you were just in the mood to break the whole sobriety stage. How you feeling?"

"Like microwaved shit."

I chuckled brushing his hair back feeling the dampness on his skin. "Yeah vodka is coming out slowly."

"Through my pores!" He groaned resting his head on my shoulder.

"You stink."

"I'm sorry. Hey, Mrs Bagans." He smiled taking my hand.

"I'm reevaluating that in sickness and in health clause, you know hangovers don't come into it?"

"But I'm sick."

"It's self inflicted, babe there is a difference." I replied wiping his face with a facecloth.

"I know.. But you love me to do this." He answered leaving his mouth open slightly as I shoved a mint into it.

I didn't tell him it was a chilli flavoured mint and I honestly didn't know until his face began to get red and he complained about his tongue.

The mint went down the pan and I was being pushed away as he brought up more.

"I'm dying. Oh god I'm dying already!" He whined.

"No you really aren't. Man up. I have childbirth to go through yet." I said passing him a bottle of water to rinse his mouth.

"I'm sorry if I ruined yesterday."

I frowned "Ruined? Zak it was one of the happiest days of my life. I even got to warn Aaron and bag myself Vegas' hottest playboy bachelor. I'm winning right now.... Although I'm still technically a Yates until you consummate this marriage. With your meat rod of love." I cackled making him groan.

"I didn't call it that."

"You certainly well did. And your mom can back me up."

"My mom?" He asked in shock.

"Oh yes."

"Oh no..." He grumbled.

"But... As my first wife act, I have rang around and cancelled the whole breakfast club coming over to soak up the alcohol, it seems they can't cope either with someone paying for a free bar and when I said that you weren't up to fried runny eggs-"

His hand slapped over his mouth as he shook his head violently, the colour of green filled his face and he had his head back down the toilet again.

I grinned in satisfaction.

You know? I could get used to this wife duty.
