the last time sooyoung spoke face-to-face to sicheng was back in 11th grade. sooyoung remembered that day like it was yesterday. for their latin class, their teacher paired them up for a project, and sooyoung wasn't too happy with it. afterall, she didn't like sicheng. to sooyoung, sicheng was an arrogant, narcissistic man, that intimidated the people around him.
the teacher had given them a whole week for the project. sooyoung was ready to start on monday evening, but it seemed like sicheng had other plans for it. that lead to sooyoung having to start the project on her own, researching about roman emperors all night while sicheng was having the time of his life at one of his father's gatherings.
it was the next day, a tuesday. sooyoung walked into the classroom, trying to see where doyoung was sitting. she spotted her friend, before running to his desk. doyoung looked up from his desk, smiling towards sooyoung. " did you start your project ? me and kun are almost done with it, he came over last night and we almost finished it. " he let out a laugh, as a small sigh escaped sooyoung's mouth.
" i started it on my own. sicheng told me he was too busy to focus on our project. " sooyoung said, before she saw that sicheng and kun enterd the classroom. she rolled her eyes, as sicheng made his was to his classmate. " sicheng, i was going to text you last night, but i don't have your number. " she let out a laugh, as sicheng dropped his backpack on a desk. " i started our project. can you come today at a library, to work on it ? "
" i would, but i need to go somewhere with my girlfriend. i promised to pay for her hair. " sicheng replied, as sooyoung raised her eyebrow. " me and missy met yesterday, at my father's party. she's in that other class, but she is a wonderful girl. " he smiled, as sooyoung nodded. she sat next to doyoung, as he found his homework paper.
" i guess you might get married to her one day, if you're already going to pay for her hair. tomorrow, you might pay for a wedding ring. who knows. " sooyoung let out a laugh, as kun smiled from across the classroom. sicheng shaked his head, not too happy with what sooyoung told him. " why not ? you seem to love her to the point that you willingly miss a project that matters so much for our grade ! " she yelled, as doyoung turned around, widening his eyes.
" that project is useless, stop worrying about it. if you care that much, then do it yourself. " sicheng rolled his eyes, before a laugh escaped his mouth. " besides, marriage is also useless. why would you get married, when you can spend time with tens of women who like you ? " sicheng continued laughing, as both sooyoung and doyoung were weirded out by what he said.
" you are probably the worst person. how can you say that ?! " sooyoung yelled, as sicheng ignored her. " getting married to someone is so beautiful, and it will really make you a better person. as a man, you shouldn't go ahead and see multiple women at the same time ! that's too weird ! plus, when you meet one person, then you will know that it's them, and you won't go around, trying to choose between more people. "

" i still remember that those were the exact words we told eachother. " sooyoung let out a laugh, as sicheng smiled. he nodded, before taking his coffe mug. " i can't believe that i am going to ask you for advice on relationships. you were probably the last person i would ever expect to be happily engaged and about to get married, and i was probably the last person that would have to choose in between multiple people. "
" sooyoung, as your dear former classmate, i care a lot about your life. " sicheng replied to sooyoung, " and, of course, you are my future wife's best friend. yeri has gotten so angry about all of the relationship drama you've been. and, honestly, i actually felt angry at some point. you are very naive sometimes, and i need you to realise that you are in need of someone. "
" what do you mean by that ? " sooyoung asked, confused by what sicheng said. " i am in need of someone ? that makes no sense. yeri told me that i can be happy alone, and now you tell me that i need someone ? " she sighed, as sicheng nodded. " please tell me what that means. you confuse me so much with your words. " she rolled her eyes.
" you clearly truly like one person, and that is jaehyun. " sicheng said, as sooyoung widened her eyes. " because of him and his engagement, you went out and made yourself believe that you like jungwoo. then, you tried it out with jungwoo, but you still went and talked to jaehyun, and i can surely tell you, i could see the chemistry. a chemistry that you and jungwoo never had. "
" so what you're saying is, i should go and tell jaehyun that i like him ? " sooyoung asked, as sicheng nodded. " that was the solution this whole time ?! " she yelled, as sicheng nodded once again. " i thought that you were going to tell me about happiness by myself, and then solutions to my problem, but you tell me to go back to my ex-boyfriend, who told you that he needs to stop thinking about me ?! "
" sooyoung, when you meet one person, you will know that it's them, and you won't go around, trying to choose between more people. " sicheng told her the exact words she said in 11th grade, " and jaehyun is clearly that person. he might've held onto you for 5 years, but, he is the person that made you the happiest back in the day. "
" thank you, sicheng. " sooyoung smiled, " i really thought i would receive a different answer from you, but i guess you made a lot of sense. i should go and tell jaehyun what i actually feel. " she got up, as sicheng nodded. he finished his coffee, before she looked at him. " did yeri tell you that we are going to get our fillers done today ? " she asked, as sicheng nodded.
" yes. " sicheng smiled, " i, obviously, will pay for the fillers yeri will get. " he let out a laugh, as sooyoung smiled back. " don't worry, i will talk to jaehyun, maybe convince him about a possible blind date. " he continued laughing, as sooyoung nodded. " we will be quite surprised that the blind date is going to be you, the person he thought he should forget about. "

" so, with the help of sicheng, you decided to follow the advice i actually gave you ? " yeri asked, as she scrolled down her phone. their usual plastic surgeon was not here, but miss. lin was here to do the job instead. she injected the liquid into sooyoung's lips, before she put a bag of ice over them. " how are you going to talk to him ? "
after a few minutes, sooyoung slowly got up. she let out a sigh, " sicheng said something about a blind date. i don't know how he will convince jaehyun to go on a blind date, especially since jaehyun mentioned that he didn't want to be involved in a relationship for some time. " she got up from the chair, as she put on her fur coat. yeri, who had already got her fillers done, sighed.
" hopefully, sicheng will be able to do something. " yeri said, as the two waved towards miss. lin. they walked out of the clinic, as yeri unlocked her car. " i will need to talk to sicheng about it, he's not really smart when it comes to hiding things. he almost messed up our whole engagememet, and it was about to turn out absolutely wrong. " she let out a laugh, as sooyoung nodded.
" if what sicheng told me is actually going to help me with how i feel, then he is probably giving out the best relationship advice. " sooyoung smiled, as the two girls drove off. yeri stopped at a red light, as she took out the mirror, to look at her new fillers. " i love how this woman applied our fillers. usually, it hurts for a few hours, but not now. " she explained to yeri, who nodded.
" you're right. i believe that she just got hired at this clinic. " yeri said, as she drove off. she parked infront of their apartament complex, as she looked at sooyoung. " i need to go and see what sicheng is going to do about jaehyun. wait for me, i will come to pick out an outfit for the date you are going to have. " she let out a laugh, as sooyoung smiled.

sooyoung picked out two dresses from her wardrobe, but what she didn't expect was to see doyoung infront of the door. she tried to avoid telling doyoung about her meeting with both jungwoo and sicheng, but it seemed like doyoung didn't care about it. he walked into the apartament, clearly stressed out by something.
" sooyoung, i know that this plan matters to you so much, and i hate to tell you this, but i really need to end this. " doyoung told sooyoung, who widened her eyes. " i am truly sorry, but .. seulgi texted me today. she was sad to find out that we were ' dating '. i had to explain to her everything, but she still wouldn't listen to me. and, sooyoung, i truly love your sister. i want to be with her, and .. "
" doyoung, i really don't mind it ! " sooyoung explained to him, as doyoung let out a sigh, in relief. " i actually wanted to tell you that i was actually planning to go and talk to jaehyun. i also met jungwoo, and i've decided that i want to be with jaehyun once again. " she smiled, as doyoung was shocked by what he heard. " i think that i am going on a date with him tonight, based on what sicheng and yeri told me. "
" that's great ! " doyoung smiled back, " i actually have to go. i will go straight to seulgi, because i really don't want to lose my chance of being with her. " he let out a nervous laugh, as sooyoung started laughing with him. " i also saw that yeri was coming here, maybe she will come with a good announcement. " he said, before waving towards her. " have a great time ! " he yelled, before getting out.
sooyoung smiled. after a few minutes of waiting, yeri came into their apartament. she ran to sooyoung, before pulling her into a hug. " sooyoung, jaehyun agreed to the blind date ! " yeri yelled out, as sooyoung and her started jumping around. " please tell me you picked out gorgeous dresses to try around. we have one hour, because jaehyun is getting off work at 7 p.m., and coming straight to this restaurant. "
" okay, so, let me explain to you the dresses i have. " sooyoung took yeri to her closet. she showed yeri the two planned outfits. " this one, with the little black dress, i wanted it if we went to like a bar area, and this nude dress was if we went to a fancier place. " she showed both dresses to yeri, as her friend agreed with it. " i'm guessing that it is a fancier restaurant, so i should go with this nude one. "
" do you have any white heels ? " yeri asked, before looking at all of sooyoung's heels. she took out a pair of strappy heels, showing them to sooyoung. " wear these. i am going to do your hair and makeup. put on a white fur coat and take your nude purse. hurry, you won't be ready in an hour at this speed ! " yeri clapped, as sooyoung rushed, to get ready.

jaehyun was waiting at the table sicheng had reservated for him and his blind date. he looked around, before he spotted none other than sooyoung showed up infront of him. jaehyun widened his eyes, before he got up. sooyoung walked towards him, as she pulled him into a hug. jaehyun held onto sooyoung, as she let out a laugh.
" i kind of guessed that you would be my blind date. sicheng never sent me on these, and i had a gut feeling that it was going to be you. " he said, before placing a kiss on her cheek. " somehow, it's always going to be you. " he smiled, as sooyoung let go of their hug. " so, what brings you here ? did you talk to jungwoo ? "
" i did, and i can't seem to make up how much he hurt his ex-fiancée. " sooyoung sighed, as the two sat down. " honestly, what sicheng told me made a lot of sense. i went to jungwoo because you got engaged, so you are somehow the cause of this whole thing ? " she let out a laugh, as jaehyun looked down. " i realised that you are the only person that could really help me with this whole thing. "
" sooyoung, i'm glad to hear that i can be the solution. " jaehyun said, " because i do care for you and i do figure out what you feel in certain situations. you can be read sometimes like an open book, and recently, you've been through a lot. " he cleared his throat, as sooyoung nodded. " i'm willing to try it out again. " he suddently told sooyoung, who was taken aback. " maybe i would like to get married this time. "
