Jenn's pov
Back to having breakfast....
I looked at Ben and I didn't know how to tell him what I just read, so I showed him the email.
"Good morning, this is Lisa from Universal, we are currently in the works of starting the process of putting a film together for an Action movie. We wanted to know if you were interested in playing the main character for the film." Ben read the message quietly then looked at me.
"Well what are they going to be offering you? And when will they start?" He asked then scrolled up a bit revealing the $95,000 per shoot.
"So if it takes let's say, 100 days to make the movie, you'll be receiving only $9,500,000. It's not bad at all." Ben said and nodded softly.
"I think that's a good deal." I smiled and he nodded.
"Only if you feel like you're ready though. No one is rushing you to make a movie. I want you to fully recover before you make a movie babe." Ben said as he rubbed my arm and pulled me in close to kiss me deeply. "I'm so proud of who you've become.. and I hope you get the role for sure. I'd love to be on set with you all the time and see my hot ass wife do big things. I know you're capable of doing an action movie since I saw you make The Mother." He whispered then kissed me some more. I kissed back and bit his lip softly.
"Thank you baby." I smiled. He nodded and looked at my eyes then my lips then back at my eyes again and kissed me again.
I kissed back and he rubbed my thigh softly.
"You ready to go now?" Ben asked as he took a piece of my left over French toast and ate it.
I nodded and softly wiped the powdered sugar off his chin.
I stood up and fixed my skirt. Ben stood up as well and looked around casually. He saw that paparazzi was hiding in the bushes across the street and they had perfect view of us this whole time.
"Paps have been watching us the whole time babe." He said annoyed.
"Per usual." I sighed and walk with Ben as I pushed the stroller. The babies were sitting in their car seats, which had a special cover on them. The cover was see-through but dark, so people far away couldn't see the babies, but I could still see them up close.
"I don't understand why they can't just let us be by ourselves. Why do they always have to keep an eye on everything we do?" Ben said as we walked back to the car after paying for our meals.
As we were leaving, a male fan who was very excited came up to us to take a picture. He was so excited that he got too close to us without realizing it. Without any hesitation, Ben quickly stepped in between the fan and me and the other girls to protect us. The situation was intense and made me feel scared and vulnerable, but I felt better knowing that Ben was there to keep us safe. I can't even put into words how grateful I was for him in that moment. These are the exact situations that I had been fearing and hoping would never happen again. Even though there may be people who genuinely want to meet us, we can never really know their true intentions. A strong feeling of discomfort started to take over me, affecting every part of me. My heart started beating harder and stronger, as if it could burst out of my chest. I was scared for me and the girls.
The man apologized and could sense that I was scared. Even though he seemed kind, I couldn't get rid of the fear I felt. As we walked to the car, the security guards from the nearby plaza came and protected us, making sure we were safe while we put the car seats in the car.
Ben opened the door for me and stood by my side as I got in. Before closing the door and getting in the driver's seat, he gave me a gentle kiss on my forehead. He was angry with the person who had made me feel uncomfortable. Ben knows me well enough to recognize when I'm stressed or anxious. As we began driving, he let out a soft sigh and held my hand.
"You okay babe..?" He asked.
"Yeah.. just a bit anxious still... it reminded me of when we were in Italy and everyone was just crowding around us as if we were statues... I just hate that feeling of being seen as a high valued object than being seen as a normal person." I said as I tried to calm down.
Ben rubbed my thigh softly and sighed. "I understand." He said softly.
The car ride home was silent. I ended up falling asleep from being so overwhelmed.
After arriving home, Ben brought the girls inside before returning to carry me upstairs to our room. He helped me change out of my clothes and removed my bra. Then he put his Boston shirt on me, which fit like a dress since I'm shorter than him. He also put on my booty shorts. Afterwards, he changed into his own clothes and laid down next to me. Both girls were already asleep because car rides make them feel relaxed and tired.
3 hours later...
After a calming nap, the girls and I slowly woke up. When I opened my eyes, I saw Ben sitting next to me, focused on his laptop. He was concentrated and was working on a script that he had been tirelessly working on. I watched silently as his fingers moved quickly across the keyboard, typing without stopping. It was amazing to see how dedicated and talented Ben was as a writer, effortlessly producing almost what it seemed liked 10,000 words. I couldn't help but be impressed by his creativity and skill. He was playing music softly on his laptop, Yellow by Coldplay was playing.
"You're my yellow. And I love you so." I whispered. Ben looked over at me. He closed the screen and set his laptop beside us on the nightstand, letting the music play. He turned up the volume a bit but not loud enough to overpower us talking. He laid beside me to face me and pulled me closer to him.
"I love you more. How are you feeling babe?" He asked as he stroked my cheek softly.
"Better. The anxiousness went away and I feel okay." I said softly as he placed soft kisses on my cheeks then placed a kiss on my lips. I kissed back and looked at him with a smile as I admired how thoughtful and caring he is.
"I love you." Ben whispered. All I ask by Adele started playing. I smiled and straddled his waist then leaned down to kiss him. "I love you more..." I said softly before singing to him. "All l ask is
If this is my last night with you... Hold me like I'm more than just a friend... Give me a memory I can use" I sang to him and he held me close kissing me deeply. I kissed back as he placed his hands on my cheeks, cupping my face.
Shortly after, Stay With Me by Sam Smith was playing.
"Stay with me... forever." Ben whispered and I nodded softly.
We slowly got out of bed after a few minutes of cuddling and listening to music together.
I walked over to the girls cribs and smiled as Juni was awake and Raelynn was slowly coming out of her sleep. Their cute faces made me feel warm inside, and I couldn't help but laugh quietly as I admired how cute they were. Juni made sweet sounds and kicked her legs happily because she was excited to see me. I picked her up and kissed her cheek. "Good morning mama." I smiled and sat in the nursing chair as I pulled up my shirt and she immediately latched on. I smiled softly at her and caressed her cheek as she was looking up at me. She held my finger and looked at me. I admired her gorgeous hazel eyes and her long eyelashes. She had long eyelashes like her daddy. I smiled and relaxed as she drank my milk. After an hour of feeding, Juni was done and I held her close as I burped her. She burped and cutely sighed as she was relieved. Ben walked over and took her from me carefully as I went to get Raelynn and feed her.
"Hi my little Rae Rae. Mommy loves you so so much. You have no idea how much mommy and daddy love you. You're the cutest little bundle of joy." I whispered to her as she was drinking my milk and was looking up at me. She had deep dark brown gorgeous eyes and softly fluttered her lashes as she looked at me. I smiled and caressed her head softly, running my fingers through her hair. I leaned down a bit and kissed her forehead softly. I smiled as she smelled like a fresh newborn. Which she was but she had this smell to her that was so relaxing and comforting.
30 minutes later...
She was done eating. I carefully propped her up in my lap as I supported her back and neck as I burped her. She burped and sighed in relief. I smiled and held her close as I kissed her head softly and brushed her hair with the little comb the hospital gave us. I giggled softly as I held her close as she was slowly falling asleep. It was clear to me that she enjoyed her hair being brushed and enjoyed the feeling of the tiny comb bristles rubbing through her scalp gently.
The rest of the day, Ben and I spent it watching tv and taking care of the girls.
Around 4:30, Violet came back home with the kids.
"Hi momma. We had so much fun today in school. We had bounce houses during our lunch break and it was soooo much fun!" Samuel smiled widely as he told his dad and I about his day.
"That's amazing baby!" I smiled and hugged him. Raelynn and Juni were both in their cribs taking their nap before dinner.
"Mom, can I talk to you please?" Violet asked.
"Yeah sure honey. I have been meaning to talk to you as well." I said to Violet.
We entered the office on the lower floor next to the living room and found a comfortable spot on the soft sofa. Violet closed the door quietly and sat down on the other side of the sofa, looking at me. Her expression on her face looked a but worrisome...
"I was informed by my admissions director that you and dad transferred my transcripts to another school. Does that mean we are moving to Georgia? Is there something I don't know?" Violet asked.
"yes.. That is correct. Listen, we were going to tell you guys tonight." I said softly as I watched Violet's expression go from sadness to anger.
"But why?? Why, on my last year of high school, of all times? What is the reason for this? I can't believe I have to leave my best friends, the ones I've known since we were in pre-school, mom. It's hard for you to understand... I know Max and Cy will be okay with it because you always had them moving around with your ex. But I am not Max and Cy. I am almost 18, and I have the ability to make my own decisions. If staying with my mom is what I have to do, then so be it. I refuse to go to Georgia and miss out on experiences with my friends!" Violet snapped.
"I understand you are frustrated but your father and I wanted to move back to Georgia to settle down.." I said before Violet cut me off and let loose with her emotions.
"Just because you have two babies does not mean you have to settle down in Georgia. Of all places, why?? Why would you do this to me? All you care about are your own kids and the little ones. You didn't even bother to think about "What would Ben's older daughter think? She is almost grown and she won't have to worry because she'll be out of the house by 18 and in college next spring." It's like you completely disregarded my point of view, which is really disheartening because it shows how selfish you are. Even dad seems to be backing this decision without considering how I feel." Violet's exclaimed as tears streamed down her face.
"Violet, we were considering you, you have many options to go to school on the east coast, the director showed us all the colleges that want you in their school. Baby, youre extremly smart and you have mamny options to choose from. We were considering your schools, reguardless, your father and I will be traveling from Georgia to LA for work purposes or events. LA is our home but Georgia is where we want to be. I know it sounds upsetting, but I really want you to come with us..." I said to her as I pulled her into her a hug but she pushed me away and went to her room.
