Luca's pov
As i unfolded the blood-stained letter. Realisation hit me. I failed to protect the love of my life. I failed to protect my queen, my mate. The memories of her laugh,the warmth of her touch. All flooded in my mind, taunting me with her absence. Zydus was also quiet. How can i let my guards down. How didn't i notice from all the attacks that danger is lurking on her. I ignored everything. I failed her. " Alpha, are you okay?" my beta said to me. I was in utter shock. And zydus knew it well that i was hurting very badly. He was also on edge. If someone dares to mess with us today. They are going to be killed by my hands. Dont worry, luca, we will bring our mate back. They will pay for it, whoever did this. I will bring the hell on them. My wolf said to me.
I gathered my strength and gotten up from the floor. They took her eric, i said to my beta. Call the pack meeting urgently in one hour. First, i will check here, and then we shall continue the meeting. Bring the staff here in front of me. " Yes, my king." After that eric storm out of the room. I went straight downstairs, and i saw Camellia. Other warriors from the pack house were all there. When i reached downstairs, they all bowed down to me. You both were in my house, come forward. I said, pointing my finger towards the maid and the chef. "Alpha, we didn't do anything. Please have mercy," they said while shivering. Do you know who the girl that lives here is with me? "Al-Alpha, that was your mate and our lu-luna," and what did i tell you?
" Al-Alpha...." Answer me," i roared. " You told us to protect her no matter what" and what you did? "we failed you, alpha, but luna told us to hide. We told her to hide herself" and you fucking listen to her?? You're fucking warewolves and she's a human. So who should help who?? I can't deal with you two. Camellia, take them with you. " No alpha, please have mercy," my maid said while crying. God damn it. Go and clean the mess and get out from my sight. I said while shouting at them. The chef and maid ran towards the other area. Now, the warriors that were guarding my penthouse were standing behind me. They were all looking down. You... all of you! Why did you let them take her? I trusted you with her safety! I said furiously.
"My king , we didn't expect..."You didn't expect? You expect nothing less than perfection when it comes to protecting what's mine! Now, who's responsible? I said while intrupting him in a dangerous voice. "My king, i can explain," the other warrior said to me. Explain to me what? " Alpha, they came out of nowhere, We couldn't react in time. It was like, the person who broke in knows everything about the penthouse, about the securities, about the location to enter into the house" Are you fucking with me??? So you're basically telling me i have a rat in my pack??? " Al-Alpha, we dont know. They were three members and they all know what to do. You cant even handle the three of them, you were ten and they were three." Alpha, cameras are also broken. The one with the plan was master mind.

Camellia, eric to the forest right now and follow your luna scent to find her. "yes alpha " we all shifted in our wolves and started running in the forest. We all start running towards the forest. We were in a group. My top warriors and my beta, delta were also with me. " dont worry, isabelle, we will find you," i said to myself. The moonlight is casting shadows through the dense trees as my pack moves silently through the forest. They're following the scent of my mate, their senses keen, but something is off. We all start running into different directions to find her. Time was passing quickly, but we couldn't find her. We were now closer to the river. Her scent was closer here. So we start running while leaving the river behind. She should be here. Her scent led us this way. I said while growling to my pack, we all were talking in our wolves form. "I don't understand alpha, It's like luna vanished into thin air," Warrior one said while sniffing the air." Shut up and find for clues," i said to him. They all continue to sniff and growl, but isabelle's scent seems to fade away, leaving my warriors perplexed and in confusion. " It doesn't make sense, alpha. Her scent is here only. We can't find her. Her scent vanished somehow," my beta said to me. "Could it be a trap, alpha. Maybe they want to trick us by doing something." Camellia, one of my top warriors, said to me. Stay alert. This doesn't feel right. Keep searching, but be ready for anything. Eric, start searching in the neighbouring packs. If they dont Cooperates, kill them on the spot.
" On it, alpha."
Suddenly, when i was about to look at the other side, i felt pain in my stomach. It was like someone was hitting me again and again. And it was too much. I howl in the air. " Alpha, are you okay?" My beta asked, Isabelle! She's in danger. Someone is hurting her. I can feel it through the mate bond. She's in pain. She can't bear it. They are torturing her. I said through the mind link. "Luca, dont worry, my brother. We will find her in a few days." Warriors are searching for her. Let's go to the pack house to deal with other things.
Isabelle pov
As I slowly regained consciousness, the world around me felt like a blur of shadows and muffled sounds. My head was throbbing with a dull ache, and my body pulsed with pain as i groaned. Panic welled up inside me as I struggled to get out of these chains. But nothing was helpful to me. As i was struggling, the room's door creaked open slowly, sending a shiver down my spine. I had been struggling to free myself from the cold, unforgiving chains. My wrists and ankles were raw from my desperate attempts at escape. He stepped into the room. The dim light revealed a twisted grin that sent chills through my body. His voice, low and menacing, sliced through the silence."You can't escape, darling," he taunted, his words dripping with cruelty." Do you want to eat something?" The dave guy asked me. I noticed the guy behind him has a tray full of food in his hand. "No,i don't want to eat anything," i said while clenching my teeth. But suddenly, my stomach growls. " But look, your stomach is saying something else." He said while chuckling. "You can make this easier for yourself if you cooperate." Now I am going to unchain you to eat your food. So behave.
I clenched my jaw, refusing to give him the satisfaction of my submission. Emily started to unchain me. " behave bitch other wise i will make you." Now i was on the ground. My hands and my ankles were sore from the pain.
" Now eat! " dave guy commanded.
There was a bread, an egg, and a glass of water on the tray. I grab it and start taking small bites. When i was eating, dave started to speak. " I want you to record a video message for your luca. In which you will say to him to save you and all the details i will give you." When he said that, my hunger died suddenly. I'll never do what you want, I hissed, my voice is quivering right now. It was like my kidnapper's patience waned, and his tone grew darker. "You don't seem to understand, do you?" I will never do anything like that. "Then you will have to pay for the consequences. Let's see how much you're determinant on your decision. Emily, teach her a good lesson and dont give her food for a few days. And then, go to Luca's pack and start making him fall in love with you," he said with a smirk on his face.
Tears came into my eyes by listening to this. Is it worth it? I asked myself. Am i really doing this for luca? Who kidnapped me, who cagged me in his luxury house. Am I really doing this? Aghhhh!! Stop it you bitch, i yell. When i was in my thoughts emily grabs my hair in a tight fist and start dragging me towards the chair. " You're a fucking human and you cant do anything" she said while throwing me on the chair and start binding me with the ropes. " so now lets start the show, shall we?" My breath stuck into my throat as i see a knife in her hand. Wh-what are y-ou tr-ying to do wi-th th-at, i said to her. "oh you will see" she came closer to me. "luca is mine you fucking bitch and as she dig the knife into my shoulder.
Aghhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! I shouted.
Tears were rolling down my eyes. Sto-pp it, emilyyy, i said while crying. " No one's going to save you." She said while laughing. Then she started punching me on my face and stomach. Now Blood was coming from my nose. Ple-ase st-op, i stuttered. But she wasn't listening. She then came to my other side and put the knife on my other arm. " You should know who luca belongs to," she said with a smirk on her face. Wh-what? "She started dragging the knife on my arm like she was carving something, aghhhh!!! Stop it, emilyyyyyyy. But nothing was stopping her.
As i looked at my arm with my teary eyes. She wrote E ♡L on my shoulder. Blood was gushing out of my arm. " Yes, emily loves luca," she said while giggling. Y-ou a-re su-ch a psy-ch-opa-th. I stuttered. "Sleepy sleepy, mutt." She said while throwing the final punch on my face. After that, everything around me turns black.
After a few months.
I have lost counting the days. Days turn into week and weeks turn into month. They have been torturing me. I have lost a lot of my weight. I'm a mess right now. But they dont care. It's been three months as emily told me. But there's no sign of luca. I have started losing my trust in him. Maybe he doesn't love me. But the other part of my heart was saying to trust him. I was missing him. During this whole incident, i just realised that i love luca with all my heart. My heart misses him. I miss his voice, his touch, his lovely behaviour towards me. I was such a ungrateful bitch. I didn't realise at that time. Now am in a disaster. Idk if luca will came or not. But no matter what , i will never let these assholes hurt him. Everytime alpha dave asked me to record the fucking video, i refused. During these three months. They let me take shower after two to three weeks. They let me eat food after leaving gap of two two days. Even in my periods, they didn't give me pad or any stuff. They tortured me in my periods. I was a total mess. Although they give me little amount of food. so that they can hurt me more. Because if i die. They can't hurt luca.
During my stay here at this dungeon. I came to know that Alpha dave has no good intentions. He wanted to kill luca and wanted to take his place as a king and alpha of all alphas by using me as a bid. And i will surely not help him to succeed in his plan. During these three months, emily came daily to torture me. She broke my ankles and started hitting me with a hammer on legs and different parts of the body. I lost the count of bones that have been broken and the amount of blood i had lost. One day, emily came back furiously and started hitting me while saying that luca wasn't giving her attention because of me.
Flashback.
I was unconscious when emily threw a bucket full of water at me. I open my eyes slowly. " wakeup bitch, its time for your other lesson" she said while clenching her fist of my hairs. I went to luca, but he's not giving me attention because of you. You're a disgrace, he kept drinking and drinking and keep missing you. Wtf is wrong with him. Its because of you. And i will make sure, you will pay for everything. She said while hitting me again and again. " My poor luca, i wish i was there to brighten up his mood. Em-mily stop it. You will not get anything from it. I will get whatever i want. She said while slapping my face.
Flashback ended
I have lost the amount of torture they are giving me. She uses knifes on me, uses her own hand and sometimes she throw water on me and use fucking electric wires on me, that makes me loose my control fastly. My limbs are heavy and uncooperative. It was as my own body had betrayed me, a cruel reminder of the torment emily had endured. I had fought as long as i could, but the pain had become too much to bear, and i had succumbed to darkness after every torture. Now, am feared what would happen next. My heart raced as I wondered if dave and Emily was still nearby, if he had plans for me beyond what i had already endured. Every shallow breath I took seemed to echo in the room, a reminder of my vulnerability. With trembling hands and a racing mind, I knew that my only chance of survival was to gather my strength, to find a way to escape this nightmare. But as i lay there, the pain and fear threatened to consume me, and I couldn't help but wonder if.......
I would ever see the light of day again.
