It had been 6 years since the worst night of your life. Your boyfriend escaped custody and your family was dead after a war. You had to pick yourself up again and you couldn't do that in England. So you moved- to France and on your second week you ran into a guy at a coffee shop. You weren't ready to date then so you became friends.
4 years ago however after going out drinking he confessed he loved you, and seeing no other option you said you loved him too even if not the way he loved you.
Here you are now standing at the alter abut to marry him. Though you desperately wished he was someone else. You truthfully had never gotten over your ex. I mean how could anyone compare to Mattheo fucking riddle.

That's why it killed you inside to be marrying this guy. You wished he was someone else and you felt like you were betraying yourself and Mattheo by marrying someone you weren't sure you even really loved. Every part of you wished that Mattheo would randomly show up at your door and you could be with him again. So you could be in his arms, where you both knew you belonged .
Though time was running out, you didn't think you would find anyone else to love you which is why you agreed to the proposal. That didn't stop a part of you wishing those doors would burst open and he'd be there. But the window for that was closing- your future husband had said I do and it was your turn.
You hesitated for a second, one second but that was enough. The doors were swung open and you couldn't help but let out a gasp finally seeing him there.
"Stop the fucking wedding"
You let go of your fiancé's hand and walked to him, well no. You ran back down the aisle into his arms. "You're here." You couldn't help but let out tears as he held you. You knew everyone was watching but could you give a fuck no. Seeing him you knew your choice. "Get me out of here." You whispered and you felt the feeling of apparition.
You landed on a hill in the French countryside- hours away from your wedding chapel in the city. You pulled out of the hug to look at him. The past 6 years were definitely good to him, he was hot. You couldn't deny that, and you certainly weren't going to.
"Damn babe." You sighed and he smirked then ripped the bouquet out of your hand you didn't realise you were still holding and threw it into the lake a few meters away. Then he did the same with your engagement ring. "I had to get those away from you. You shouldn't be wearing anyones ring but mine. No matter-" he then took your hand and slipped the promise ring back onto your finger, the same ring he gave you on your 17th birthday. You always kept it in your jewellery box, he must've gone to your apartment.
"That fucking ring almost made me to late to save you, to save us. So you better never take it off again." He ordered and you grinned.
"Never again." You sighed before grabbing the back of his neck to pull his head down to meet yours, the second he realised what you were doing he smashed lips on yours and backed you into a Near bye willow tree.
It lasted a couple of minutes and it was the most mind blowing kiss you'd ever received. It only stopped when you pulled away. "the first time I'm fucking you in 6 years is not going to be against a tree."
