[TREY]
It's the beginning of February, nice and cool to be outside for the while. I put on my wool scarf, decorated with linings and patterns, and my earmuffs as I walk out of my apartment.
As I looked around outside my room, I saw a red rose, tinted with pink, on my doorstep with a few petals scattered nearby. I pick it up curiously. Did somebody drop this here? Probably. I mean, somebody might have been carrying a basket of roses and other flowers up on the way here, so I'm guessing that's what happened.
I walked outside into the windy breeze. It felt cold to the touch, but also nice at the same time. I sighed happily as I took a stroll down the neighborhood, alone but happy.
I forgot to mention this, but I'm actually excited for Valentine's Day, which was in another week or so, even though I'm pretty sure nobody likes me, I can still have fun by myself! I imagine a brightly decorated street with ribbons and hearts strewn everywhere, which sounds a bit sappy, but cute!
I feel slight unhappiness at the thought of couples and dates walking down the street, happy and cheerful, while I would be walking down the same street alone.
But who would love somebody like me? I'm just nobody.
---
I woke up to the sounds of the birds chirping outside, it sounded beautiful and cheerful, and even made me smile out the window. Outside looked similar to yesterday, except it was a bit more busier, with people hurrying to buy groceries and gifts for the people they love.
I already sent some things to my parents earlier, since they live a bit farther away from here. I hope they get it when Valentine's Day comes or earlier.
I yawn as I get dressed in my black attire, and my signature black hat, which made my pastel hair flop down to the side of my face. After I was done, I ate breakfast and headed out to visit some of my friends (they asked to come over today, and I was free, so I accepted). There, on my doorstep, again, was another rose, but this one was a lighter-shade of pink.
I picked it up and looked all over the rose. It didn't have any pointy thorns, strangely. Most roses I've seen have thorns, but this one seems to have it cut-off, along with the straight cuts at the stem. Hmm, who would be carelessly dropping these beautiful flowers? Another accident?
I put the rose in a vase with the other one, they looked beautiful though. After doing so, I set out to my friend's house, skipping along the way.
---
Another beautiful morning. Wow, this is getting old, huh? Dictating my life gets kind of boring, I know-
I glance at the vase of the two beautiful roses, they still looked fresh and their colors were still bright as ever. Maybe I should find the person who keeps dropping these roses and give them back, I feel bad for keeping them since they're not really mine...
Getting dressed and quickly eating breakfast, I walked outside and went to the park to relax a bit. I laid on a park bench and it felt nice to be out in the sunshine. I watched young children playing on the swings and the playground, they were really cute and adorable! They reminded me of some of my friends from my childhood, who also loved to have fun.
I stayed there for a few hours, just relaxing with no-one around to really bother me, and just the sound of giggles filled the air.
I headed back to my apartment afterwards, and went back up to my room. Again, like yesterday and the day before, there was a small daisy placed on my doorstep. Unlike the other days, however, it had a small note attached to the stem, which read 'From your secret admirer.'
Secret admirer? I have a secret admirer?
I felt a bit excited at the news, but also a bit confused. Was the flowers really for me or for somebody else that lived here in this apartment? I mean, it could maybe even be for the person who used to be living in this room or something, but that was a while ago that they moved out.
I decided to sleep early tonight, maybe I'll figure it out tomorrow...

[NARRATOR]
I know you all are bored to heck right now at my sense of plot.
"This plot is getting real old!" you might say, which I agree. Sorry if it's really boring to read the same exact things over and over again, I'll start skipping some days because of time and you know why.
Okay, anyways, hope you enjoy the rest, and ignore my brief interview! ^v^

[back to TREY]
It's now the day before Valentine's Day, and I still haven't figured out about the flowers. They still kept coming to my doorstep every single day, either in the mornings or in the afternoons. It felt nice to gaze over at the bouquet placed in the glass vase in my bedroom. There were roses, tulips, daisies, carnations, all mixed and bunched together into one huge flower display.
The notes were similar to each other, but had different words to them. Like:
"You're special."
or
"I love you."
or even
"Roses are red, violets are blue, out of everyone here, I choose you."
But something that all of the notes had in common was the phrase, 'From your secret admirer." Obviously it would be from my secret admirer, but who could that be?
I basically am dying to meet me secret admirer. Not literally dying, but just filling up with excitement. I really do want to meet them, and I don't mind who it is.
I won't care if they aren't a girl. I don't mind if they are of a different culture. What truly matters to me is their personality. I truly don't mind about whoever they are, but I do hope that they are nice, sweet, or just a bit mischievous.
(xD I JUST CAN'T- I'M SORRY, THIS JUST MADE ME THINK OF THIS-)
(OKAY BACK TO THE STORY-)
But who am I to judge them? I mean, we all are different in our own ways, so I should just be happy with whatever I have!
I'm feeling a bit more excited for tomorrow, today's note told me to meet them in the park again, like the other day. I guess I'll meet them then!

[THIAGO]
I smiled as I thought of the first day, when the pastel-haired picked up the first rose. I liked Trey secretly, and wanted to surprise them on Valentine's Day tomorrow. Hopefully all goes well, and that Trey does get the message to meet me in the park.
Every day, I place a flower on their doorstep that I tend to myself (I'm slightly into gardening, and they were in bloom at the moment). It felt nice to watch them smile at the flowers, and to watch them cradle it in their hands.
I also started writing notes to which I attached to the stem of the flowers, which I handwrite, like "you're special" or "I love you." But I made sure to label it "from your secret admirer," just mainly to give them a hint.
But I'm talking too much, I just hope that they would be just as happy as I am tomorrow.

[TREY]
It's Valentine's Day! Finally! I can now meet my secret admirer today! I excitedly got dressed and finished breakfast quickly, then walked out the door. Surprisingly, there wasn't a flower on my doorstep. Oh well, it's fine if they forgot to do so, I'm just in a hurry to meet them!
I walked out of the building and made my way to the park like the other day I was here. I could see people happily walking with their loved ones on the way, which made me smile. I saw kids happily playing with each other, and making new friendships with one another. It felt nice to watch all of it happen on this special day.
I waited on a park bench, to which I think I fell asleep. There was somebody sitting on the bench next to me, whom I didn't really notice.
I woke up suddenly to find myself with my head leaning against somebody's shoulder comfortably. I jolted back in surprise, then apologized to them. He just smiled after my apology, then kissed my lips with this. My face turned red as I realized what was happening, but it felt really nice and I couldn't pull away...
"Don't recognize me?" he asked in a suave voice. I was intrigued... he looked handsome and really cute... Agh! I shook my head in response. To that, he took out an amethyst-colored chrysanthemum, with a note attached to the stem. I took it gently as I read the note.
If I had a rose for every time I thought of you, I'd be picking roses for a lifetime. Every time you smile, it makes my world light up with happiness. You truly are the one for me.
(poem credit from Swedish Proverb and my own imagination)
I gasp at the last part. He was my secret admirer?! I stood frozen a bit, not knowing the right words to say. But I soon melted into a puddle as he kissed me slowly again. I truly felt immense happiness.

Sometimes, actions mean more than just words. You just need the right ones to light up your world.
