Trying something different here. 2 chapters based on the same event from different POV

When I tell you that the past few weeks have been hectic and rather stressful I wouldn't be lying to you. Every girl stressed about looking thier best or not having dates or what hairstyle and makeup to got for and the boys all scared of asking girls as dates. I had shown Ced t he colour of my dress so that he could find a way of adding it into his dress robes somehow and he informed me that I wouldn't need to find and necklace as he had a perfect one for me that he would give me on the day of the Yule ball which just so happens to be today. It's also Christmas day today but no one was really worried about that around Hogwarts today as that main focus was the Yule Ball. My Parents still sent me some presents which I had opened this morning when I gave Regan her presents too. We didn't really go mad, I just put together a hamper of all her favourite things from the muggle world and wizarding world. My Parents had sent me over a beautiful ring from y favourite jewellery shop in the muggle world. It matched my dress perfectly so you know I'll be wearing it tonight. I have just finished breakfast and was now making my way back to my dorm room to grab my things so I could have a shower, wash my hair and shave. You know the routine most girls go through before a bg dance or party. My dress and shoes are already hanging by my bed waiting to me put on. The ball started at 8pm and I hate rushing around, it was 11 am right now and I'm planning on letting my hair dry natually as I don't want to damage it. I still hadn't really decided what I wanted to do with my hair or make up for that fact so that why I wanted to give myself as much time as possible. Good thing is that I still perfectly fit in my dress and I would know this because I tried it on yesterday to make sure. I had finished up in the shower and dries off before jumping in to some comfy shorts and oversized top, I walked back in the dorm putting all my bits away and hanging my towel up to allow it to dry. I then proceded to grab all the things I needed to get ready out of the drawers and place them on the dressing table next to my bed. Regan had now headed off to shower and do the same as me, she has much longer hair then I do so hers will take longer to dry and style. I sat on my bed reading my Care for Magical Creatures book just because I love this book, while I waited for my hair to dry. Regan was now begun blow drying her hair so I coulnd't quite concentrate on the book, I placed to book down and walked over to Reegs taking the blow dryer out of her hands and started helping her dry her long locks. This also helped dry my hair quicker as well. By the time I had finished drying her hair it was already 2pm meaning it was time to start thinking about what I want to do with my hair and makeup. I walk over to the dressing table and looked at all the things I had lied out infront of me before working out whether I wanted to do full glam or neutral. I never really do make up but when I do I think it come out really well. After thinking about what hairstyle and makeup to do for about 30 minutes I opted for these as my choices.
When I looked back over at the clock in our room I noticed that it had taken me in total 3 hours so there was only 2 hours ish till the start of the ball and as Cedrics date I needed to be down there at 7:30pm. As I was mostly done I went to help Hermione and Regan so thier hair and makeup. They both looked stunning already and they didn't even have the dresses on. Whoever was Hemrione's date was defiantly a lucky guy. We didn't want to crease our dresses so we waited until right before we needed to be downstairs to put the dresses on which meant we had a little time to sit around and talk. Time flew by at it was now 7:20 so it as dress and shoes time, I needed a little help zipping up the back of my dress but Regan helped with that just like I helped her do her dress up. I looked at myself in the mirror admiring how I looked and to make sure everything looked ok, I turned aroud to see Hermione and Regan Standing there looking absolutly beautiful, I was jealous of how stunning they looked and how it came across so natural for them. We took a few pictures together and of each other before walking out the common room and down the stairs and towards the Great hall.Walking down the stairs near the doors leading into the great hall I felt the most self conscious because everyone was look at us especially me because of Ced. Hermione said she was meeting her date somewhere else so it was just Regan and I, so when we got halfway down the stairs we noticed Cedric and Taehyung waiting at the bottom for us. I sense Regan tensing up when she spotted Taehyung, I grabbed her hand for some reassurance, just as we reach the bottom step the boys whip round staring at us in awe. I let go of Regans hand before making my way to Ced, he hugs me and whispers in my ear "my god you took my breathe away, you look beautiful, it's going to be hard keeping my hand off you tonight" I laugh at his comment. We pulled away from the hug,where Cedric placed his hand inside one of his pockets and pulled out a blue velvet box. He handed it to me with a massive smile on his face, was this why he didn't want me wearing a necklace. I slowly open the box to reveal the most beautiful necklace I have ever seen.
It was a amber yellow stone heart necklace that was the perfect Hufflepuff colour and it was engraved with the date that he asked me to be his girlfriend. I took it out of the box and handed it to Ced before turning around signalling I wanted him to put it on me. I felf him place it round my neck and clasping it. I turned around and kissed him, "thankyou so much Puffle,I love it, its beautiful, I got you a little something for christmas but it's still in my room" Just as Cedric was about to say something back we was ushered into a line as the Champions were about to take the first dance, this isn't going to end well. I was stood behind Vicktor Krum and his date who I now know is Hermione,she looks so happy with him. Everyone was already waiting for us in the great hall and we had to walk past them all to get to the dance floor. We took out places when the music starts playing and we move around the room doing the dance we learnt a few weeks back.I looked over at Harry who seemed to not be enjoying himself that much and looked rather awkward, thankfully soon everyone joined us on the dance floor and the attention wasn't on us anymore.
The rest of the night went by with a lot of dancing eating and drinking, my feet slowly started hurting more and more over the night and decided to take a seat for a bit leaving Cedric with his friend. I look around the room trying to find Regan and Teahyung and when I did they seemed to be getting on alright, they was talking and smiling with each other. I got lost in my thoughts only to be brought out of them when a pressence sat down next to me and it wasn't Cedric or Regan. I turned to my left to see Draco sitting there smirking away, I rolled my eyes. "Finally seen sense and ended things with Huffledork then." I was getting really sick of this "no I haven't, still rather happy with him, certainly a lot happy then i'd be if I was with you. Now please get the idea out of your head that there is any sexual tension between us because it isn't that and it never will be there,leave me alone, i'd like to enjoy the rest of my night please" I went to get up and move seats when he harshly grabs my wrist pulling me back down, I was now fully looking at him, he looked angry "these games need to stop Lindsey and now, stop denying that you haven't thought about what spending a night with me would feel like because if you leave with me now, you'll find out" I balled my fists together and was about to swing when someone grabbed my arm pulling me away from Draco and out the doors of the great hall. When we came to a stop I noticed it was Regan, I had so much anger built up in me right now that the only thing I could think of doing was punching a wall which is exactly what I did, I yepled in pain. I sighed when Regan came up to me and took my hand examing it to make sure nothing was broken, looks like it will just be bruised "what exactly just happened in there Linds?" I took a deep breathe before saying "he was winding me up Reegs, saying things like how my relationship with Ced is just a game and how I should spend the night with him becuase it's something I've always wanted to know how it felt, I just lost it with him, thankyou for pulling me out of there before I punched him." Regan hugged me before we walked back into the hall, met up with our dates and enjoyed the rest of our night dancing away until the night was over. It ended so quickly but I was definitely looking forward to sleep. Cedric offered to walk me back the common room even though I protested he still wanted too anyway, we walked hand in hand chatting away. Cedric stopped suddenly not to far from the common room entrance which caused me to stop walking too, I turned around to face him confused on why he stopped. He looked at me for a few seconds before pulling me closer to him and taking my other hand in his, he looked down and said "tonight has been one of the best nights of my life other than the night you agreed to be my girlfriend nothing will top that, I'm so glad that I made the decision to make sure you was alright that day in the library. I know it's only been 4 months but I can't help how I feel and I know that what I feel is true and pure. What I'm trying to say Lindsey is that I love you, I'm so deeply in love with you that the world ceased to exist when I'm with you, I can't concentrate when your around but you seem to make each day better than the last. I will forever love you Sweetheart" I smiled and let the happy tears I was holding in fall down my cheeks, I didn't have to rise up on my tippie toes because of my heels, I looked Ced in the eyes and said " I'm deeply and madly in love with you too Puffle, your my everything and you make my heart skip a beat each time your in the same room as me. You will always be the greatest thing that has ever happened to me. I love you Cedric Amos Diggory" I leaned in to meet his lips which immediately moulded together. We pulled away only when we was short of breathe. I kissed him good night one last time before saying the password and walking into the common room and up to our dorm. I slept like a log that night, extremely happy and In love , Will defiantly be a night I'll never forget
