Standing Up (REQUEST)

#A.N.: First actual one shot of the year and I wanna give a special shoutout to DianneCrimson for the idea that brought me to write this one-shot. I know it's not exactly a request, but since the idea didn't come from me, I'll consider this as a requested one-shot. Btw, 2012 series here since I think it'll fit better for the context AND art is not mine. Also, there will be a bit of swearing - SORRY - Hope y'all like it!

Leo's POV

I still can't believe it. Donnie made us watches that make us look like we're human, and Casey and April decided to take us to their school. We've already been there that one time that we helped April out, but this would be different. We'd act like we're teenagers who are just having a hard time to choose which school we should go to. I'm so excited. We all are. This will be the first time that we ever go out in public without it being Halloween.

Anyways, we're all standing at the front door waiting for April and Casey. Soon enough they show up. "So you really came! Ready for your first day of school?" She askes. "How bad can it go?" Raph askes. (Alright. This is it. Hope everything goes well and none of us get in trouble.) I think as I take a deep breath. "Alright, dudes! This is going to be awesome!" Mikey says as he punches the air while jumping before rushing his way up the stairs. "Mikey, wait!" I call as the rest of us hurry up to catch up to him. My eyes widen and my chin drops as I take a look around. It's so filled with people. Some take a quick glance at us before going back to doing whatever they were doing before. "Alright, let's get you to the principal, so she/he can give us permission to show you the school." April says before leading the way to the principal's room.

Timeskip

"Okay, that went better than I thought." She says. "So we need to find this L/n girl first and she can show us the school?" Raph askes. "Yep."

"Do you know where she might be?" I ask. "No clue, dude." Casey says as he shrugs. "Wait, wasn't she in the music club?" April askes. "Like I said, Red. No clue."

"Ugh. Look, maybe you'll find her in the music room. Here's how you can get there." She tells us the way and leaves for her class with Casey. "Alright. Let's find her." I say before going to the way April told us to. After a good time, we finally reach it. "Sweet!" Mikey says and we all shush him. I quietly open and the door and we reach it, but I stop short in my tracks as I see a girl with h/l h/c hair playing the piano. I sign Donnie to close the door and we all just watch her playing. She starts off soft but soon enough she puts some real power in it.

I'm really shocked. She has such a beautiful voice and it's really powerful too. "... That was awesome!" Mikey shouts and she jumps on her seat as she exclaims in surprise. She turns to us with her eyes wide and face really red. "Y-You h-heard that?!" She askes. We all nod. "Ya really got talent, kid." Raph says as he crosses his arms and smirks. She turns around and closes the piano and doesn't turn around after that. "*Ahem* Are you L/n? Y/n L/n?" I ask. She turns around but keeps her gaze on the ground. She nods. "Well, Mrs./Mr. P/n (Principal's name) said you could show us the school." She finally turns to us. "Oh, so you are new students?"

"Not really. We came to check the school first." I reply. "I see. Well, if that's the case, I think we should get started, right? Follow me." She says and we do as she says.
