TMNT 2012/14/16: Leonardo X Reader One-Shots & Boyfriend Scenarios

Why Would You Change It?

#A.N.: So I've seen one-shots that the Reader changes their hairstyle, or their wardrobe, but I've never seen an one-shot where the Reader has this habit of using a certain product that has a specific smell, and then changing it and one of the guys noticing the change. Therefore, I wanna give this one a try. Plz, don't hate me.
P.S.: It can be any product that you guys love to use on your body mainly because of its smell. It can be a perfume, or a leave-in conditioner, or a body lotion, or a cream for your hands. It just has to be something that has a specific smell to it that you guys love. Household cleaning products do not count, okay?

Your POV

"Ugh, I can't believe I forgot to buy extra last month. I'm such an idiot." You say before you slap yourself on the forehead.

Thing is, you forgot to buy more of you favorite (product - here's where you think of what kind product you've ran out of that usually you have it piled up in your house) last month, so now that you've ran out of it, you'll have to stick with your second favorite (product) until you get your payment by the end of this month. 

"Well, no can do now. Guess I'll swing by the shop in a few days and buy as much (product) as I can so I don't run out of it again." You make a quick stop by your counter so you can note down the new item on your shopping list. After that, you check the clock on your kitchen wall. "Damn it, I'm already that late?! Wait, what did Mikey ask me to bring with me this time? ... Oh, yeah! The popcorns." You grab all the popcorn bags you have on your cupboard and shove them on your backpack.

Today is movie night with the turtle brothers, so you thought you'd take a chance to spend the weekend there, in order to have some fun and just forget about your daily problems, such as your work. That's when you realised that you ran out of (f/p - favorite product) and had to put a bottle of (s/f/p - second favorite product) in your backpack. Anyways, after checking everything, you grab your stuff and leave your house/apartment.

Timeskip

"Hi guys! Sorry I'm late!" You shout as soon as you enter the lair, and the orange masked turtle notices you right away.

"Y/n! You finally came!" He tackles you into a really tight bear hug. "What took you so long?"

"I had some... Sudden issues I had to deal with before coming. It's all cool now. And I brought you the popcorn you asked."

"Alright! Thanks Y/n!" He grabs the bag of popcorns and dashes towards the kitchen.

"Guess he's really excited, huh?"

"Not that I can blame him. Tonight's movie list is quite the big one." Leo says.

"And the more popcorn, the less he talks, since he stuffs himself with it. So thanks for bringing so much of it. Guess we'll finally watch a movie in peace, for a change." Raph comments before getting a slight slap in the head from Leo.

"Won't Master Splinter be joining us?" You ask as you realise that their father isn't anywhere to be seen.

"No, he said he wanted to rest. So whatever happens, we must keep quiet." Leo says.

"*Giggles* Got it. Well, while Mikey is getting the popcorn done, guess I'll take a shower."

"Alright, take your time."

"Perhaps not the best idea since Mikey has been bothering us about not wanting to wait much longer before the movie night starts." Donnie replies as he stretches his arms. Guess he stood the entire afternoon on the lab.

"Okay, I'll be as fast as I can. But no promises."

"Sounds reasonable."

You roll your eyes and head for the bathroom.

Timeskip

After you're done with your bath and your night routine, you head for the living room, where the others are.

"Finally, Y/n! What took you so long? Mikey ate half of the popcorn bowl already." Raph complains once he spots you.

"Did he make all of the popcorn?"

"He made half of it." Donnie comments.

"Oops. Sorry. Next time, I'll try to be faster." You say as you take your seat on the couch.

"Well, now that you're here, let the movie nights begin!" Mikey says as he grabs the controller and hits play.

As you are watching the intro, you suddenly feel the couch shifting thanks to some extra weight right by your side. You turn your head to spot Leo as he offers you a blanket to share with him.

Even though you are a bit confused at his sudden approach, you scoot yourself over to him and lay the blanket over your legs.

"... Wait a sec..." You hear him mumbling.

"What is it?"

"Shh! Guys! The movie's starting." Mikey complains before stuffing his mouth with more popcorn.

"Sorry." You say and turn your attention back to Leo, who, to your surprise, is with his lips quite close to your neck. "*Whispering* W-What are you doing?"

"*Whispering* Did you change your (f/p)?"

Your eyes widen and your chin drops as you pull away so you can look him in his eyes. "*Whispering* How did you..."

"*Whispering* The smell. This one is different from the one you've been using for the last couple of months. Why would you change it?"

"*Whispering* Well, I ran out of (f/p) so I had to use (s/f/p) today."

"Whispering* Will you keep using this one?"

"*Whispering* Just until I buy a new bottle of (f/p)."

"*Whispering* Hmm. Shame." He says as he turns to the TV, but that only makes you frown.

"*Whispering* Why?"

"*Whispering* I dunno... Guess I like this one you're using right now. More than the other one, I mean."

Your eyes widen and you turn your gaze to the floor as your mind is flooded with thoughts. (Did he really mean that? He likes this one more than the other? Why? Besides, how could he be so casual about it??)

When you come to your senses, you feel your body being pulled. You look to the side and see Leo with an arm around your shoulder as he pulls you closer to him. You blink a few times in surprise, but you end up opening a little smile. (Guess this one is not so bad after all. Maybe I'll use it more often.)

And so you did. And throughout the weekend, the blue masked turtle would surprise you with long hugs whenever he had the chance.
