When I heard that man call MJ his wife I went crazy, if it weren't for Marcos, Zachary and Sebastian who dragged me back in to the tree line I would have charged at him and killed him where he stood. I saw Max turn and look at me as I was being dragged back to the tree line, there was something here that wasn't being told and I needed to find out what it was and fast. We paid more attention to what was being said between MJ and the man that is named Francisco, we all could see that MJ was really mad at him for what he was doing so we all paid more attention at everything that was being said between them.

"I see alot of rouges on my lands and my husband in front of them" MJ said
"And I see you out numbered so it will be easy to kill you and take over your pack, I mean you are already dying since your mate rejected you for his half sister" Francisco said
"And who said that we are out numbered" Max said
"What are you talking about" Francisco asked
"Before I ran out here with mom, I had enough time to text my uncle Mike and let him know that we might be needing their help" Max said
"And why would they help your mother out" Francisco asked
"My mothers full name is Maria Janet Montoya Soto, daughter of Alpha and Luna Montoya" Max said

At that time everybody walked out of the tree line, when the rouges saw them they started to back away from us but were stopped by some of the fighters that came with us. When we were next to them you could tell that Francisco wasn't expecting the information that Max had given him, it was like MJ never talked to him about her family to him, my brothers and I got next to Max as everybody else got next to MJ.

"You are lying, your not the daughter of Alpha Montoya. He never had a daughter, he only has two sons" Francisco said
"You have been mis informed Francisco, MJ is my daughter but she already had a pack that she was the Alpha of and she didn't have to stay here with me to be trained to be alpha like her brothers had to" Silvestre said
"If you dear to attack this pack, you better be ready to fight three packs instead of just one" Luke said
"That is going to be easy, since MJ is weak her pack is weak as well" Francisco said
"And why do you say that" Alex said
"A weak alpha means a weak pack" Francisco said
"And that you are right but I stopped being alpha when Max turned eighteen and I passed the alpha title to him while you were out on your buisness trip" MJ said

Who would have know that Max was now the alpha of the third most powerful pack of the US, I was feeling really proud of our little brother and I could tell that my brothers were as proud as I was of Max.

Francisco wasn't so happy about that and you could tell by the look in his face while Max had a smile on his, he stepped in front of MJ and at the same time the whole pack got next to me blocking MJ from Francisco.

"Alpha we are waiting for your orders" Lucio said
"Stand by for my grand fathers orders, he will take over in this situation" Max said as he turned and looked at him
"You have two options Francisco, you either walk away with your pack and wait for the divorce papers and never come back or you stay and fight which I can asure that you and your pack will be illiminated" Silvestre said standing next to me
"Fine, we will go but this isn't over" Francisco said
"Oh its over unless you want to die" Max said

At that Francisco and the rouges left without looking back, when I turned to see MJ was turning pale and before she fainted Max was able to get her before she fell on the floor. He picked her up and took her inside as we followed him, we ended in what I assumed to be her room and he placed her on her bed before he unzipped her boots and took them off showing a mark identical to the one that Lucia had had when Silvestre had rejected her. We all gasped and I started to walk towards her but when Max growled at me I stopped in my tracks not wanting to find out what he would do if I didn't stop, Lucia walked up to him and placed her hand on his shoulder.

"How long has she had the mark" Lucia asked
"Since I can remember seeing it on her" Max said
"And how long has that been" Silvestre asked
"It was on my tenth birthday" Max said
"So it has been eight years or more since she has had the mark" Silvestre asked
"Yes, we were told that the mark must have started when she was rejected and she accepted it" Max said
"Have they said how much time she has left" Sebastian asked
"It all depends on what her body is able to continue to hold" Max said
"What about her wolf why doesn't her wolf help her stay strong" Luke asked
"Because she lost her wolf that same day, even though mom accepted the rejection her wolf couldn't handle it and became weak do to the pain of the rejection making her not talk or comunicate with mom since then" Max said

We all staid there for a while waiting to see if MJ would wake up but after about two hours we all left her room and went into her office, Max sat on the chair behind the desk as he put some papers away in the drawers of the desk before we could see what they were. We sat on the sofas and the chairs that were in the office as we all had small conversations about how Max has been the Alpha of this pack while MJ continued to run the pack as if she was the alpha, I could tell that Max wasn't happy about me being here and to be honest I understood him since I didn't feel good myself for all the damage I have done to MJ due to me rejecting her after she confessed that she had killed my father for everything he had done to her and all the people she saved from the hunters he was helping. I was responsible for my mate to be dying right in front of us and I could do nothing about it, unless I got away from here and went to talk with her and ask her to forgive me and accept being my mate just like she was supposed to be since the day we found each other and to be honest I didn't care if I had to beg for her forgiveness then that is what I would do.
