ASKING FOR FORGIVENESS

I asked to used the bathroom while everybody was left in the office but in reality I was heading to MJ's room, I had to ask her to forgive me and to let me be with her even if it meant that we would only have a few days together. When I got to her room I could hear people talking in there and I staid outside listening to find out what they were talking about, I leaned against the wall next to her bedroom door so I could listen much better to what they were saying.

"MJ you have to tell Max the truth, he needs to know how weak you really are" the man said
"I know Leo, I know but I can't do that he needs to focus on asking dad to help him become the alpha I know is in there" MJ said
"What about your mate, he is here MJ. He saw what happend to you and got worried, when he saw us putting the oxygen mask on he tried to get near you and Max growled making him stop in his tracks" Leo said
"He has to learn to stop doing that, he is his brother even if he doesn't want to accept it" MJ said
"But he doesn't want to accept him, he hates who he really is because of what their father did to you" Leo said
"What am I going to do with him, he is so stubbern" MJ said
"Just like his mother" Leo said
"Why don't you just give your mate one last chance, let me ask you one question what would you do if you were in his shoes and you were told that the person who is your mate told you that he was the one who killed your father how would you react, would you still be with him or would you react the same way he reacted" Leo asked
"Fine I see where your coming from but I just can't see Max call his own brother step father" MJ said
"So your saying that you don't want to accept your mate because of some stupid title that doesn't have to change, your mate is and always will be his brother and if you just gave him a chance he and his other brothers are the ones who will be able to help him be the proper alpha of this pack. Just think about it your mate is the Beta to the Blue Moon Pack and the other two are second in command and third in command, they were trained to help, advice and protect the alpha what more can you ask to the moon goddess for" Leo said
"I will think about it" MJ said
"Well I will let everyone know that your awake" Leo said

I moved away from the wall and walked in to the room in front of MJ's and I could right away tell that the room belonged to Max by all the pictures that were around his room, when I heard the door to MJ's room open and close I opened the door and walked out of Max's room and went into MJ's to see her with her eyes closed. I walked up to her bed and sat down on the chair that was next to her bed, she turned towards me and opened her eyes to see me before she turned away.

"What are you doing here" she asked
"I wanted to talk with you" I said
"I think that everything that was supposed to be said was said" she said
"Well it seems that we now have alot to talk about" I said
"There is only one thing that I want to ask you" she asked
"And what is that" I asked
"Promise that when I am gone you and your brothers will be there for Max even if he doesn't want to" she said
"You know that you can stay here with him, with us and finish teaching him everything that you know" I said
"I am tired of trying to live with all this pain that I have inside me but I don't want to leave before I make sure that Max will be taken care off and has the support that I will not be able to continue giving him" she said

At that moment the door opened and everybody walked in seeing me sitting on the chair next to her, I turned to look at her and saw her looking at everybody with a big smile which I knew was being forced by her to hid what ever really was going on with her. Silvestre, Lucy, Elena and her brothers including Max came towards the bed and I got up so they could get close to her. I walked to stand next to my brothers before I felt a hand on my shoulder, when I turned around to see who it was I saw Santiago smiling at me and I shook my head making his smile disappear. When MJ asked to talk with her father and mother everybody left the room, when we got out of the room I was pinned against the wall by Max who was looking at me with anger in his eyes. My brothers pulled him away from me but I told them to let him go which they did and I was pinned back against the wall once more, he looked into my eyes and asked me to stay away from MJ or he would make me as I looked at him without showing fear at what he had said which made him mad and let me go before he walked into his room. My brothers and I walked out of the pack house and I told them what had happened in the room with MJ before they all walked in, I could tell that they felt pitty for me but agreed that they would be there for Max if I wasn't able to convince MJ to accept me as her mate and she passes away.
