GETTING HER BACK

TWO YEARS LATER

MAXS POV

It has been two years since mom passed away and grandpa suggested that we join both packs until I was ready to be alpha of our pack, I have found my mate in my grandfather's pack and we have been really happy. We just found out that she is pregnant with our first pup and we have decided that will inform the family today during dinner, we don't know how many or what they are but we are happy none the less. We also have decided that if its a girl we will name her after my mother, my uncles did get married the day they had decided to get married on and mom was there with all of us. My brothers have been trying to get close to me and even though I still can't stand Salvador mom made me promise that I would try and get along with all three of my brothers but I haven't been able to do so since Salvador was responsible for my mothers death, while I am getting along with two of them its hard to get along with the older.

"What are you thinking about" Linda my mate asked me
"Nothing much" I said
"Really so you weren't thinking about the promise you made your mom, the one that says that you will get along with your brothers" Linda said
"Yeah well its hard to see Salvador and not get mad at him for what he did to my mother" I said
"Well you have to try and get along with them, they all are our baby's uncles no matter what" Linda said
"I know but its hard" I said
"And it will continue to get harder if you don't let the grodge go and give him a chance, your mom clearly told you that she forgave him for what he did to her beause if she was in the same place he was in she would have done the same thing" Linda said

We heard a knock on the door and we were told that dinner was ready, we walked down and into the kitchen where we took our spots on the table. When everybody was at the table we started to eat and by the time we had finished eating we all headed to the livingroom where I sat on a lay-z-boy and made Linda sit on my lap which made grandma smile, she was the only one that knew about Linda being pregnant but she promised to keep it a secret until we were ready to tell everybody. I looked at Linda and she smiled at me before she nodded her head, I looked at my grandma as she grabbed my grand fathers hand and gave it a squeeze. I then turned to see my brother and my uncles, who were looking between Linda, grandma and me.

"What is going on" Sebastian asked
"Yeah, you all are being so misterious" Luke asked
"Well Max has something to say" Linda says as she looks at me
"What do you have to say" my grand father asked
"Well I made a promise and I haven't kept it atleast not to one person and I think its about time I let go of the grudge" I said
"And what grudge is that" Zachary asked
"To get along with my brothers" I said as I turned to look at them
"Its undersandible that you felt mad and angry at me for what I did to MJ but I really want to get you to forgive me one day even though I know that it will take some time for you to trust me I will do everything to be able to get you to do so" Salvador said
"Well that is good since we will be needing your help" I said
"And what kind of help do you need" Salvador asked
"Well since I didn't have a father to show me how to be a father and you all did, I will be needing all three of you to help me be the best father to my pup" I said as I looked at Linda while placing my hand on her growing belly
"We are going to be uncles" Santos asked
"Yeah" I said as I turned and looked at them

Everybody got up and started to congratulate us for the new addition to the family, everybody asked if we knew what we were having or if we had any names chosen yet but we answered with the honest truth. My grandma right away said that all the girls were going to go baby shopping while all the guys started to say that they would help with getting the furniture together, I was then pulled away by my brothers and they all said that they would help me the best they could even though they didn't know much about being fathers themselves. I didn't know what to do but I knew that I had to keep my promise to my mother and I had to the best as I could, I already took the first step and that was to try and let go of the grudge that I have against Salvador and little by little I was going to take another step forwards with my family right behind me.
