Raqie admitted. This whole trying out her Guardian power thing was making her excited too.

When her bloodline activated, she also received a blessing and enlightenment which was specific for her guardianship.

The blessing made her cultivation faster, stronger and deadlier.

The enlightenment she had received, she believed, was knowledge and skills unique to every guardians.

What she acquired would be different than the others.

And so, rather than risking hurting some people accidentally, she refrained practicing her enlightenment after the activation.

Anyway, she began conjuring her Guardian power by a series of hand gestures.

The atmosphere around them began to change.

"Careful! Manage your power properly." Maru said to Raqie.

The latter didn't answer but she understood the warning of the ancient bird.

She continued concentrating with her eyes closed and imagined the words she had acquired during her enlightenment.

Illusion... Torture... Death...

Any skills related to these three would be her Guardian power.

Soon, she finally had decided to attack.

Her hand made a wave gesture towards the Neretos people.

Toby gulped as soon as Raqie did the wave.

Then he waited.

In fact, it wasn't just him who did.

When Raqie did her fancy hand gestures, they already thought that her attack must have been a powerful one.

But even after waiting for a minute now, there wasn't anything happening to the Neretos people yet.

Toby had to walked beside Raqie and asked silently, "Senior, what happen? Did you bluff us just now?"

Raqie didn't answer. Instead, she looked at her hands.

She did the gestures accordingly so bakit hindi lumabas ang kapangyarihan niya gaya ng inaasahan?

She waved saveral more times again but it was still not doing anything.

Seeing this, the nervous Neretos people finally were relieved. It was either this lady was just trying out a new attack or she was just trying to bluff them.

Either way, they were safe and would still block their way like what they should do.

"Ha, yun na yun?" One of the Neretos people asked with a sneer.

The others began laughing to his words, obviously ridiculing Raqie.

Toby, on the other hand, had a troubled expression. He knew he was supposed to side with this Senior. But really, the stunt she just pulled right now made him a bit ashame.

"Senior..."

He wanted to console Raqie as it must have been terrible for her most especially but he was surprised to see her calm and was still looking on her hands.

"Hmmn, maybe it will work on you." Raqie said then faced Toby.
