112: Condemned Forest 2

Fortunately, Maru was not entirely a cruel bird.

She gave her the process for using Void to afloat people.

"Since its one of the basic concepts, I can teach you that. In order to afloat people, you have to imagine the Void affecting one's center of gravity.

"Gravity can affect density. Density is the mass and volume of a person. When you manipulate the gravity using the Void, therefore, you also affect the density of a person.

"To apply that concept, you have to use the Void and intend to make it more denser than Jin and the gray wolf. That way you can make them afloat on air."

(A/N: This is freken fantasy! Why am I siding over science here? Damn, Void! 😅 Anyways, picture of this chapter is Maru, the colorful furball, along side of her human form. I tried to find more fur ball and anime character with rainbow concept, but nah... They aren't much of them in Google. I should look for Adarna in bird form next time then so as to complete Maru's transformation.)

It took Nyssa a while to truly comprehend what was Maru taught her about this manipulation of gravity using void.

Actually, she could already tell na nahihighblood na ang ibon dahil sa kanya.

If she was the Phoenix Bird and not the Adarna, baka kanina pa siya nag-self combust dahil sa dalaga.

Fortunately, bago pa man lumubog ang araw, Nyssa had already learned about this use of Void.

She finally was able to make Jin and the wolf afloat.

Soon, she was already leading the way towards that lake na sinabi ni Maru sa kanya kanina.

When she reached the place, the bird as finally willing to come out of the Void.

"After an eternity, nakarating ka din dito." Maru exaggeratingly said.

Nyssa just made face at the bird, who already took the gray wolf and started to get into work for making their dinner.

She, however, looked around that place.

Agad naman niyang napansin ang isang bahay kubo na hindi kalayuan sa kanila.

"Hey, Maru! There's a hut there. Do you think may tao dito?"

"No. This place is abandoned."

"Eh? How are you so certain?"

"I can tell if there are other people nearby. That nipa hut is empty you and Jin can use it."

"Let me check it out first."

Nyssa cautiously approached the hut.

Mukha namang tama si Maru na abandonado na ang lugar na ito.

Maybe, this hut was made by that middle aged man who last entered this forest.

About Wayne, Nyssa figured him to be that guy Jin's father had been talking about; the one who entered Condemned Forest and received great gifts instead.

Besides, there were this connection she was feeling towards him, exactly the same thing she felt towards Brock and Raqie.

Anyway, when she entered the hut, she was surprised to see a room there with bed. There were also a table with chair.

Mukhang tama siya na ginamit iyon ni Wayne dati noong nasa gubat siya. Everything was for a single person.

Nyssa made Jin lay on the bed. Then the void went back to her body.

Hmmn, she had works to do.

Back in her old life, one skill she had acquired was to build her own bed. Conveniently, this forest got everything she needed and this hut had building materials.

At once, she set off doing a bed for herself.

Hindi rin naman nagsstay sa physical world si Maru ng matagal. She would prefer the void most of the time.

Kaya naman, all she had to worry about was Jin and her necessities.

Maru, who was busy with their dinner, looked at how Nyssa gathered things for her building of the bed. Since she learned about afloating skill using Void, it was easier this time for the lady this time to do this work.

Napailing lang naman ang ibon dahil sa ginagawa ng dalaga.

Very unlady like... Very different...

Naputol ang iniisip niya when a loud shierk from a distant bird echoed through the whole forest.

"What's that?" Nyssa asked.

"Nevermind. We are protected in this place. No beasts, magical or not, can approach us here."

Nyssa believed Maru.

She shrugged and simply continued building her bed.

Midnight...

Since she had a month long sleep, her body was still fully awake despite the time of the day.

She decided to simply put a cloth on the grassy ground near the bonfire and enjoy the view of this place.

It was spectacular actually.

That lake in the middle of the forest... The greens around them...

It was such a peaceful view.

Aside from that, the place had thick natural energies which was perfect for cultivators. Though it was not as good as her void.

Anyway, since she was not yet sleeping, Maru stayed behind habang busy sa pagtatahi niya. She silently joined Nyssa there.

"Maru, I don't think Anastasia died from Jin's attack and collapsing of the hideout. I think if something life threatening happen towards her, I will definitely feel something too."

Nyssa finally voiced out this matter that had been in her mind since she regained her consciousness.

"I am not sure about that second guess of yours, but I also believe that she is not yet dead. The two of you... no, actually, it will be the three of you... have connections with each other.

"Since time immemorial, if time and life of people had been messed up, a deep connection will be formed amongst them. That's why primordial beings would never want to mess things up for humans at all."

Nyssa's mouth twitched. "Then I guess, this time, one primordial being becomes bored after long years of stagnation and decided to mess up the three of us, right?"

Batok lang ang inabot ni Nyssa mula kay Maru.

"Careful of your words, dolt. Primordial beings are all proud. If they hear you badmouthing them..."

Binitin na ni Maru ang sasabihin niya. She left it to Nyssa's imagination of what could possibly the outcome if this would really happen.
