"Toby! I did it!" Mangiyak ngiyak pa si Anastasia when she approached Toby.

He was also stunned.

Anastasia was able to produce an air element.

He was relieved that she passed the test, but he didn't know why her element disappointed him.

Actually, it wasn't just Toby.

A quite number of people were looking forward for this test specifically for her. They were curious about her element.

"Air... Why does it feel so mismatched?" Andy said.

"Are you saying then that Anastasia bluff the test?" Raqie asked him.

"Nope. But admit it. You also thought she would be..."

"Not here." Saway sa kanila ni Brock.

Napatingin naman yung dalawa sa kanya.

They wondered about his reaction. In the first place, it was his idea na baka kaya hindi makapagproduce ng element si Anastasia during her classes was because she was summoning an inapproriate element for herself.

It was Brock's theory na baka Void user si Anastasia.

But now...

He was expressionless though. But they knew the three of them would talk after this.

Meanwhile...

"Well, that's disappointing." Jin said.

Khalil looked at him open-mouthedly.

Minsan, hindi niya alam kung masyado lang bang mataas ang tingin nitong ni Jin kay Anastasia eh.

For goodness sake! The lady wasn't even able to produce any hint of element prior to this. Tapos disappointed pa siya?

They should be glad. The little lady passed the test with them.

Luckily, hindi nila kasama sila Adam at Toby ngayon because they were with their own classes. But still...

Nyssa was very happy for passing the test.

She never dreaded anything before. Well, she didn't attend any school back in her old life. She was trained by her uncle and her experiences in real world honed her skills and knowledge well.

However, this experience was another lesson she should have learned. Sino bang mag-aakala na sobrang nakakatakot pala ang end of school tests?

She shivered at the thought.

Anyway, since she was alone, she attempted to summon air once again.

She opened both of her palms, breathed deeply and concentrated to make something came out from them.

"Eh?"

Nothing came out there.

Hmmn... She might be not trying hard.

Once again, she opened her palms and repeated the process she did earlier.

But the result was just the same.

"Idiot..."

Nyssa almost jumped from the branch she was sitting on.

"Maruuuu... Don't appear just like that."

"Tch..." Sabay irap pa nito sa kanya.

Nangunot naman ang nuo ni Nyssa.

Something was off to the bird today.

"Maru! What happened to your feathers?"

Some of it kasi turned into white. Though kaunti lang naman siya but still, it was off since Nyssa was so used in seeing the bird's colorful feathers.

"They will get back in their colors. I just need time to adjust."

"What did you do?"

The bird glared at her.

Nyssa blinked. Ano na namang ginawa niya at sinusungitan na naman siya nito?

"I am jut concerned."

"Psh... You really an idiot.

"My feathers turn into white because I lend you my elemental power. It was just quick, yes. But there're reasons why powerful beasts like me don't touch an elemental stone."

Nyssa was flabbergasted.

So it was Maru's air element???

She was sad. Pero isinantabi na muna niya ang nararamdaman because she knew what was the cost of Maru's deed.

"How much power did the stone absorb from you?"

The bird was surprised.

She wasn't expected Nyssa to know about the effect of these special stones to the beasts like them.

"Not much. The show of element was just quick anyway."

"Maru, don't do this again.

"I remember you talking about helping me with this test. But I never expect you to risk like this. Kung alam ko lang, I could have sealed the void."

"Psh..."

Maru didn't like being scolded by Nyssa. This little girl...

However, she couldn't even tell her the reason why she did it.

Yes, she wanted to hide Nyssa's void element for a bit more time.

Hindi rin naman niya iyon maitatago ng matagal.

But as long as she could, she would help Nyssa to keep it to most people.

As the keeper of the Void, she was obligated to do it.
