Jasper was awoken some time later by a knock at his door.
"Time for class, Snow. Meet in the library in ten."
Jasper let out a long groan and slowly rolled out of bed. He stood and immediately felt an ache in his legs. This was going to be difficult... He was an idiot for overworking himself. He slowly made his way to the library for class and nearly fell asleep during the middle of it. The only thing keeping him awake was Books constantly asking him questions specifically. At the end of the hour, Books looked between the two older boys and said,
"Ok. Homework. I want you to try out the word problems in the text books, pages 418 through 421."
"Why so many?"
Jasper asked with a groan.
"Because."
Books left the room and Jasper put his head down on the textbook.
"Ugh!"
Narcolepse sat across from him and opened his textbook, then started writing down the problems in his notebook.
"Come on, Snowflake. Let's do this."
Jasper stared at him like he had four eyes. Who was this person and what had he done with Narcolepse? The brunet glared at him. Never mind. Same Narcolepse. Jasper sat up and opened the textbook so they could work through the problems together. Narcolepse seemed to have some sort of learning disability, always needing help with their assignments and forgetting how to do things he learned just days prior. He sometimes got numbers mixed around when he heard them spoken out loud. But, Jasper was patient with him. He helped Narcolepse work through the problems and carefully explained things the way he noticed Narcolepse worked best. At some point, Narcolepse moved to sit beside Jasper while they worked. The elemental got goosebumps when he felt the other's heat coming off his body. It made him blush. He cleared his throat and focused back on the textbook.
"Let's go to problem thirty."
"We already did that one."
Jasper looked at his paper, then the textbook. Narcolepse was right.
"Oh. Sorry."
"It's fine. Apparently we need a break. I'm pretty burnt out myself."
Narcolepse stretches his arms up and groaned when his back popped. Jasper swallowed and looked at the table. Narcolepse was very attractive, yes. But he didn't really know him all that well. Why was he crushing so hard like this? It was ridiculous. And what if Narcolepse wasn't into... Well, guys, but also saviors who were meant to die? That seriously bummed him out.
"Hey. Let's do the question game again."
Jasper looked at Narcolepse.
"The what?"
"You know, where you ask a question, then I ask one and we both answer honestly?"
"Oh. Uh..."
Jasper flipped back in his notebook a few pages and then looked at Narcolepse.
"I don't have my packet."
"It's ok. Wing it. What do you want to know?"
