Skins came to find Jasper minutes later. He'd thawed out the cup and put it by the sink and was trying to clean up the mess when she came to him.
"Oh. Did you freeze the table again?"
"Yeah, a little bit."
Skins laughed softly. Jasper sat down and Skins sat across from him.
"What did you want to know?"
"I wanted to know where Roderick came from. How did he get here? Where was he discovered?"
Skins frowned.
"I was told he was living at another safe house. I guess they couldn't take care of him? I don't really know. My partner picked him up and brought him here. The other safe house kind of just said "we have a kid, come get him." And we did."
"Oh."
Skins looked over at Narcolepse as he staggered into the room. He took a seat, then laid his head down on the table.
"I'm not moving for an entire week."
Jasper smirked.
"I can feel you smiling at my pain, Frosty. You will live to regret that."
Jasper's smile fell.
"Alright. Was that all?"
Skins said to Jasper. He looked at the woman.
"I guess."
"Well, then I'll be going now."
She stood and left the room. Narcolepse lifted his head and looked at Jasper with an unimpressed expression on his features.
"You're next, Frosty. This pain will be yours next."
"Thanks for the warning."
Jasper stood and left.
