Modern Au

I lay in Zuko's bed rubbing my stomach groaning in pain.

I get up and take a nice warm shower.

The pain starts to lessen down a little.

"Ugh, I hate cramps." I moan to myself getting out the tub.

I lay in Zuko's bed, waiting for him to come back from his usual meetings.

Not to brag or anything but my boyfriend's the FireLord.

When I was starting to drift off to sleep, I heard a click on the door and it opens slowly.

"Where's my cutie." Zuko says running over to the bed crushing me in a hug.

"Zuko, ow." I cry trying to push him off me.

"What's wrong? Did I hurt you?" Zuko asks taking my hands into his own.

"No! Not at all, I'm just on my period and I'm having horrible cramps."

"Oh, again." Zuko says.

I flick his forehead.

"It happens every month." I roll my eyes.

"Hold on babe, I'll be right back." Zuko says rushing out the door.

I look at the door, he bolted from and shrug my shoulders.

Seven minutes later, I hear the door open again.

Zuko walks in, arms full of a bunch of my favorite snacks, a huge fluffy blanket, and some movies for us to watch.

Zuko walks over and places all the items on the bed.

"Aww Zuko, you shouldn't have."I say getting emotional.

"You don't have to cry babe," Zuko kisses my forehead. "I always got you."

"Sorry it's the hormones, but thank you babe." I say, squeezing him in a long hug.

Zuko pops in the DVR.

He flops onto the bed with me as we munch away.

He begins to rub his hands together creating heat, he then places his hands on my stomach relieving the pain.

"Feeling any better babe?" Zuko asks kissing my forehead.

"Yeah, I'm feeling a lot better, thank you Zuko. I love you."

"I love you too." He says pulling me into a passionate kiss.
