As the eldest son of the chieftain he was tasked with protecting the village when his father left to aid in the war. As an older brother, he has to take care of his younger siblings Sokka and Katara. After their mother was killed, too much changed. He didn't have time for fun and games with war on their borders. To keep his remaining family safe he had to close off his heart and train relentlessly for the battle he knew they'd face eventually. The Avatar wasn't coming back. Or at least, that's what Ayaan thought, until a bald kid with blue arrows showed up.

There was always more to Azula's character than what we saw in ATLA. Raya is the older sister of Sokka and Katara and is also a waterbender like her younger sister. She joins avatar Aang to help him save the world from the conquer of the fire nation.

I'm not sure why I named it only you but I figured it out as I was writing Basically, this is a Zuko X chubby reader. Anyway, Y/N is tormented by Azula, Zuko's sister, simply bc she's a big girl. Y/N is extremely self conscious and doesn't believe that she's beautiful enough for any guy to be attracted to her because of her size. Zuko is so in love with her. He loves everything about her, her voice, sense of humor, smile, etc. There are other guys at the school who actually like her and Zuko absolutely hates that because he's possessive like that. Y/N's good friend Aang also has a crush on her and always get into verbal and physical altercations with Zuko. Y/N and Zuko aren't the best of friends... not even friends. They've gone to school with each other since middle school (go with it) and let's just say Zuko wasn't so kind. Over time, they get closer and Azula becomes more and more aggressive toward Y/N. Zuko knows Azula isn't so fond of his future wife and protects Y/N from Azula's shenanigans. No matter how many people that try to pull these two apart, it won't work.
