Please read my A/N at the bottom of the chapter! It's VERY important. Thank you :)

Days had passed since the issue with that reporter, when the doorbell rang.

I ventured out of my room in curiosity, phone in hand and one of my recently-returned pair of earbuds in my ear.

I almost dropped my phone when I saw who Fuyumi Todoroki was leading in.

I could see Mr. Aizawa's surprise as well when he noticed me.

"(L/N)?"

"Mr. Aizawa?"

Fuyumi turned her attention to me as she gestured for my teacher to sit down.

"He's here to talk to Shoto. And you as well, I presume."

"I am."

A couple minutes later, we're all sitting across from Mr. Aizawa at the table with steaming cups of tea.

It's oddly funny that they still have their kettle, even though they no longer use it...

I had seen it in the cupboard when Fuyumi had gone looking for the tea set.

The three of us —Endeavour, Todoroki, and I— were in a line. I couldn't help but lean away from Endeavour's broad form; even though he let me stay here, he was by no means an angel, and I found no comfort in his presence.

Todoroki sat on the other side of his father. Fuyumi hovered behind us, ready to swoop in and refill any empty cups— or to placate her father if needed.

Natsuo, on the other hand, wasn't home.

There was a heavy silence in the air, as Mr. Aizawa stared down at the cup in front of him.

He wasn't much of a tea person, I was sure, but that didn't explain the quiet that had ensued once everyone had settled in.

Finally, it was shattered. "What is it that you wanted to speak with us about?"

After a long pause that was taken as he took a sip of his tea, Mr. Aizawa replied. "For the safety of our students, we've built dorms for the students to live in. I've come to ask for you to allow Todoroki —and (L/N), it seems— to stay in the dorm rooms on the premises."

I tuned the conversation out, as I lifted my tea to take a sip.

As I placed the cup back down, I couldn't help but admire it.

The tea set was beautiful. The light green ceramic was detailed with painted white flowers held by dark brown and black stems. Long, dark green leaves sprouted near the bottom of the stems.

In my head, I could imagine them being created. A twisting stroke of the brush for each petal, a delicate slim stroke for the stem, and perfectly angled strokes to create the leaves.

"(L/N)?"

"Yes?!"

I jolted further upright.

"Is that alright with you?"

"Um... yes."

"Okay. Make sure to pack what you need to stay in the dorms, and that you will need to furnish the rooms yourselves. Have a good day."

After a moment, something crossed my mind, and I called out to his back. "Wait!"

He turned, eyebrow raised. "Yes, (L/N)?"

"Uhh... are... pets allowed in the dorms?"

"No."

"Oh... alright. I guess my cat will be staying with you. Fuyumi, do you—"
