I can't help but to roll my eyes. "Crazy," I murmured, then just take my drink and walk towards my room. I heard him laughing but didn't bother to look back...

Minutes passed, but all I could think about was what Vaughn told me. He's absolutely insane. He doesn't even know that I'm not Freya. And he can't kiss me again. I'm not his fiancé!

But I wonder what will happen when he found out that I'm not Freya. Would he do something to me if he found out that I'm lying?

I shook my head, then closed my eyes. I didn't know what time I fell asleep, but a rang from my phone woke me up.

It was from my alarm. I get up from my bed and organize it, then went in the shower to take a bath.

Afterwards, I just picked a black fitted jeans and a white button blouse crop top. Then I just paired my outfit with Hermes' sandals.

I glanced in the mirror then fix my natural blonde curly hair. I also saw my natural amber eyes. And if I was in sunlight, my eyes will really look like golden. I don't actually know if it was really amber, but I think my eye color was closest to amber. I thought that I have brown eyes when I was a kid but as I grew up, my eyes turns into lighter color. Maybe that's in my genes.

But the thing was, my mother and my brother have dark brown...

I shook my head, then gently twisted the doorknob on my room.

Every step I made was careful. I'm afraid that Vaughn will see me. He can't. I'm not wearing eye contacts, but I brought a pair in case of emergency.

A sigh of relief escape my mouth when I got outside his penthouse creating no single noise.

I hurriedly went inside the elevator, then pressed the ground floor. I'm glad that no one was inside.

While I was walking in the parking lot's direction, I suddenly realized something.

Crap! I forgot my phone! Stupid!

What if Vaughn will pry on my privacy?! He'll see everything! And I'll be doomed! Arg! Why did I even forgot it?! I have eye contacts but didn't bring my phone! I'm stupid!

My thoughts were interrupted when I heard someone called me.

"Fleur," it was Landon. He's smiling, and he looks really handsome in his business attire. It's my first time to see him wearing something like this. Most of the time, he's just wearing a simple shirt and pants.

I smiled at him. "Oh. Good morning," I greeted since I don't know what to say because I was surprised that he's already here.

"Definitely a good morning... But are you alright? I can see in your eyes that there's something bothering you," he said as he cupped my face. This was normal for us. We're always open to everything. He always cupped my face and pinch my cheeks whenever he got a chance.

I nodded. "I forgot my phone," I told him.

He let go my face then chuckled. "I thought it was something serious,"

I pouted. "It was. What if Vaughn will try to open my phone?"

He looked at me and sigh. "He won't. I know him. He won't invade your privacy." He assured me.

"Fine. So, where are we going?" I asked, changing the topic.

"We'll eat breakfast and talk," he replied, and I just nodded at him then he put his one arm on my shoulder.
