FP was playing with Archie, they were playing rock music. Ava and Jughead were watching. "Damn, hoss. You are good. Way better than your dad." FP said. Ava smiled and shook her head. "Av, take a shot at it." He said. Ava rolled her eyes and grabbed the acoustic guitar. She started strumming then started singing whatever came to mind.

Well you only need the light when it's burning low
Only miss the sun when it starts to snow
Only know you love her when you let her go

Only know you've been high when you're feeling low
Only hate the road when you're missing home
Only know you love her when you let her go
And you let her go

Staring at the bottom of your glass
Hoping one day you'll make a dream last
But dreams come slow and they go so fast

You see her when you close your eyes
Maybe one day you'll understand why
Everything you touch surely dies

She thought of her father as she sung her song. FP listened to her sing the song. Archie watched in amazement, he never knew she liked music or played.

But you only need the light when it's burning low
Only miss the sun when it starts to snow
Only know you love her when you let her go

Only know you've been high when you're feeling low
Only hate the road when you're missing home
Only know you love her when you let her go

Staring at the ceiling in the dark
Same old empty feeling in your heart
Cause love comes slow and it goes so fast

Well you see her when you fall asleep
But never to touch and never to keep
Cause you loved her too much and you dived too deep

Well you only need the light when it's burning low
Only miss the sun when it starts to snow
Only know you love her when you let her go

Only know you've been high when you're feeling low
Only hate the road when you're missing home
Only know you love her when you let her go
And you let her go
Ohhh, oh no
And you let her go
Ohhh, oh no
Well you let her go

Cause you only need the light when it's burning low
Only miss the sun when it starts to snow
Only know you love her when you let her go

Only know you've been high when you're feeling low
Only hate the road when you're missing home
Only know you love her when you let her go

Cause you only need the light when it's burning low
Only miss the sun when it starts to snow
Only know you love her when you let her go

Only know you've been high when you're feeling low
Only hate the road when you're missing home
Only know you love her when you let her go
And you let her go

She finished playing and everyone was amazed with her talent. "Ta da.." She mumbled putting it back. "You should play more." Archie said. "Maybe.." She said. "Does Fred keep any beer in there?" FP asked. "Uh.." Archie said looking at him. "Dad, don't you think it's late? I'm kind of..." Jughead said. "Oh. Yeah, yeah. No, it's all right. You know, I got a big day tomorrow anyway." FP said. "Hey, Mr. Jones, before you go, can I ask you a question?" Archie said. FP nodded. "Earlier tonight, you said my dad owed you. What do you mean by that?" Archie said. "Hey, Archie, why don't we quitwhile we're ahead, you know?" Ava whispered to Archie.

"I don't know, it's just- I mean, it's just a question. Did something happen between you?" Archie said confused. Jughead walked around while Ava looked at FP. "It's ancient history, but your dad and me, we, uh... We started Andrews Construction together." FP said. Jughead was looking away which Ava walked over to him. "You and my dad were partners?" Archie asked with a smile. "Heh. He wouldn't call us that. Anyway, we, uh.... We struggled at first. Fred, he just had your--You and your mom to provide for. I had Jughead and Jellybeanand their mom and hospital bills... Hell, I even had Ava to provide for. So I took some odd jobsthat weren't exactly on the level. And sure enough, one of them landed mein some hot water. And your dad was.. Well, he was good enough to bail me out. Then he said we should part ways. That I was a liability. Made me sign a paper saying that the bailmoney was him buying me out of the company. Never mind that my share of the businesswas worth probably 10 times that, easy. That was that. He went his way and I went mine. You know, I think I need somethinga little harder than beer." FP said grabbing a flask. Jughead and Ava looked at him. Ava held Jughead's hand. "Calm down... We will get through this." She whispered before walking off to sit down.

Archie was putting his guitar away. "Jughead, what your dad told us,I had no idea." Archie told. "Me neither. Illuminating, isn't it?" Jughead said. "My dad must've had a good reason." Archie said. "For screwing over my dad?" Jughead asked. "Are you ready to roll, Jugs and Av?" FP asked. Jughead quickly hid something before getting up. Ava got up slowly. "See you tomorrow." Jughead said leaving. Ava followed them and waved bye to Archie. They finally arrived to FP's trailer. Ava helped Jughead get his father inside. "I'll sleep right here on this couch. You two can have the bedroom." FP said. "I'm not gonna take your bed, Dad." Jughead said. "Plus, I'm staying somewhere else." Ava said. Jughead looked her confused, Ava looked at him like 'I'll explain later' "It wouldn't be the first timeI crashed on this thing." FP said. Jughead took off FP's shoes. "Oh, thank you. But if you stay.... Are you?Are you gonna stay?" FP asked pointing his finger. "Yeah, don't be late for school." FP mumbled putting his hand over his eyes. "-No, it's all right. I'm already way ahead in all my classes. Hey, I talked to Mom. She got a job at a call centerto pay for online classes. I guess she's finally going after her GED. Jellybean is helping her study. By the way,Jellybean wants to go as JB now. She thinks it sounds cooler." Jughead said. " She's 10 years oldand listens to Pink Floyd on vinyl. I don't think she could get any cooler." Ava said. Jughead looked at FP and saw he was passed out. "So, tell me where's this place?" Jughead asked. "My dad's trailer which is now mine... My dad left me, I have no one now." Ava said. Jughead hugged her. "You have me and my dad... also our friends." He mumbled.
