Nikami POV
"Hm? What is this about?" I thought while staring blankly at Shukona that is looking away
"So.... Nikami... Shiromoru..." She looks back at me
"Thats the name of the person who taught me magic, and that's you. I never thought I would be a genius.... I was always the rotten one in my family... In the Amatarini family... The girl who is too prideful... That Bratty girl who thought she could get the prince. I always knew I will be that way.... I am reminded that everyday... Our family is like a garden... With a lot of beautiful flowers.... And I'm just... Grass... They trample over me to look at the flowers... More specifically my brothers... " She looked down in frustration

"No that's wrong your not gras-" I tried to speak
"Let me finish damn it." She shutted me up by putting a finger on the middle of my lips, I looked up at her in shock. Shukona grew taller than me as the years goes by, so I looked up at her, intimidated by her tall body.
"Shu really grew even more gorgeous these years huh.... She's even taller than me..." Our Green eyes met for a few seconds until Shukona backed away, And putting her finger away from my lips. She looked away once again, her cheeks slowly turning redder by the second.

"I wonder why she's getting so embarrassed...?" I thought while staring at her.
She faked coughed a little bit "So where was I.... Oh right. I thought I will never be a flower.... I thought I will always be just a weed in the garden... Until... You came. You and that strange request of yours... «Be my friend and I'll teach you magic».... It was.... A win situation for me, a friend of the future queen and also knowing how to use magic at such a young age.... Sometimes I even joke about using you... And you... All you do is just say... «I know you won't» Every single time..." She looked mad at me
"And!! An-and! You have the audacity to walk away!!!" She yelled at me and grabbed me by shirt

"don't you know how easy this makes you a target?! Your going to be the future queen damn it!! Why the hell are you so trusting?!" She yelled at me but I just stared blankly at her.
"Green eyes are the kindest eyes." I told her
"Huh...?" She looked dumbfounded
"Those are your words, aren't they not? Emerald eyes symbolizes kindness, since usually people who has emerald eyes have earth magic, who are known to be kind. And besides, your all bark and no bite." I stared at her
She looked dumbfounded once again... And then just laughs
"Ahahaha!!" Shukona laughs
"Huh...? Why is she laughing?" I thought while I was looking at her, utterly confused
"Ahahaha! This is why I like you so much! Your not afraid to speak your mind out! And your right! Though...."

She puts her hand up and then made it into a fist. At the same moment she made her hands into a fist I felt something on my feet.
"Huh?!" Startled at the sudden feeling I looked down
"Vines...? Was this her doing?" There was vines that came out of the ground and is grabbing my feet, a bit confused I looked back up at Shukona.
"The hell you mean all bark and no bite? I'll punch you!" She glared at me, holding my chin up to her face.
"That was a figure of speech calm down." I sighed a bit staring coldly at her
"...." Shukona suddenly went silent her green eyes staring at mine. Her face was red, yet she looks determined.
I was looking up at her, a bit confused to why she isn't speaking. Her eyes had some kind of look on it.... It was.... Attachment...?
She pulled me closer by the hips, still holding my face up to face her.
"I... I'm stuck...?" I realised what she was doing, though I don't know what her plan is.

Her left hand was around my hips, her right hand is pulling my chin up. Her vines making my feet stuck so I can't move. She was.... Trapping me.
"Wh.. What..? What is she doing? Why is she trapping me...? This... This doesn't have any logical.... Explanation..? What? Wait.... What... What was she going to tell me again?" I was looking at her really confused.
"Shu, please get straight to the point." I looked up at her green eyes.
Shukona sighed and nodded
"Fine fine... I'll tell you... Its... Its just.. I'm a bit.. Scared... But, whatever... It won't matter anyways... " Her face looked awfully sad, like she was about to cry any second.
"Shu...?" I looked up at her worriedly
"Ni-Nika... I... I really... Really L-" Shukonas face was really red, she was trying to say something but Emica cut her off

"Forgive me for interrupting but... The carriage for you Shukona-sama has arrived." Emica bowed down to us.
We both turned to her
"Oh... Okay then." Shukona sighed softly and let me go. The vines going back to the ground.
"Shu, just tell me." I looked at her
"I'll do it next time... Okay?" She bowed down to me and smiles, but it was a bit.... Sad?
I bowed down Back to her and nodded "Okay then."
They both walked away from me.

Shukona POV
I walked with Emica to the outside, and saw nothing.
I sighed and looked at her
"You were lying?" I glared at her
She looks back at me emotionlessly, very different from her maid poker face. Which is always smiling.
"I'm afraid I had too, Nikami-sama is engaged to Raijin-sama. You can't just pull her close like that. What if someone saw? I... I don't want you to get involved in a scandal Shukona-sama." Emica sighed
"I understand that... But I'm not a homosexual. And morever... I don't like her at all. And also, why do you care about her so much? Aren't you a traitor?" I glared at her yet again.
