What's wrong, Mommy?

Start from the beginning

"Isn't this what makes you happy?" Kirishima asked with his usual grin.

A sun suddenly shone down upon her foul mood. [Name] mumbled some incoherent words with an ice cream in her mouth, leaning onto Kirishima.

Shinsou Hitoshi

Whenever [Name] is in a bad mood, she turned quieter than everyone in earth, she literally would survive in A Quiet Place effortlessly.

But Shinsou doesn't like it.

Yes, he is a quiet person and he prefers quietness. But his wife being quiet and dispirited? A big no.

"What is wrong?" He asked.

"I've been thinking... It's not important anyway." She shrugged.

"It is important if you're being like that." Shinsou said. "I don't like it if something's troubling you."

[Name] stared at him. He rarely talks like that so his words really touched her heart.

"But I like it when you're being like that." She said. Shinsou furrowed his eyebrows at her.

"I can do this every day if you want. You don't have to be depressed." He said.

"Um... Then I'll just go to Hayato's room..."

Shinsou watched her as she walked into their son's room. Did she just ditch him for his son? He walked toward his room.

"So that's what happened?"

"Yeah..."

"Oh... It's okay, it will all get better in the end. You should probably..."

Yes. Yes, he knows his son is better at counseling than him. Much more better.

Shinsou sunk himself onto the sofa, glaring at this young explorer girl and her monkey friend on the TV. Haruna looked up at him with worry because he was frowning.

"Tch. What kind of girl ask for advices to a monkey wearing boots?"

"... Um..."

Kaminari Denki

When [Name] returned home while bawling her eyes out, Kaminari was beyond shocked his maximum output might have doubled.

"[Name]?! What's wrong?!" He asked but she didn't answer. "Come on, what's wrong?"

The youngest son, Jun was staring at her with worry. Even Rai, who was playing an online game on his computer, had to stop and stare at his mother. His teammates cursing at him for being afk.

"Did someone die?" Rai asked.

"Oh my God, is that true?!" Kaminari's eyes bulged out.

[Name] just walked into her bedroom and Kaminari followed her in, still asking "Did someone die? Seriously?"

"[Name], did someone die?"

"Get out, Denki!"

He was kicked out of the room, still confused whether someone died or not. But then he came in again without asking anything and just held her in his arms.

Amajiki Tamaki

When a small sigh came out from [Name]'s lips, Tamaki snapped his head toward her.

"[Name]? What's wrong?" He asked.

"Huh? Oh, nothing really. I'm just wondering what am I even living for."

Tamaki's eyes bulged out from his head. Did his wife seriously just say that?

"P-please d-don't say something l-like that... I-I can't imagine a life without you..." He muttered.

"Me too!" Shin suddenly piped in, eyes full of concern.

"Me three!" The clueless Shiori beamed at them.

"Don't worry, I'm not planning to go anywhere... It's just... Lately, I've been kinda down and everything doesn't seem to go well..." She sighed again.

Tamaki wrapped his arms around [Name] bringing her close to him. He kissed the top of her head and smiled at her.

"Weren't you the one who said that everything can get better with a hug?" He asked while smiling.

Her children took turns to hug her. Seeing all of their smiles, her world suddenly looked brighter. Too bright, she could go blind soon.

Depression? That is non-existent in this family.

Dabi

"You've done it now." Akemi shook her head.

"What did I do?" Dabi asked as he walked into the living room. He saw Mamoru holding up a tissue against [Name]'s cheek while comforting her.

"What happened here?" Dabi asked.

"That's what I want to know." Akemi rolled her eyes. "Did she catch you playing around with other women?"

"Girl, I do not play with women. Do you seriously think I'm such a stud?" Dabi rolled his eyes.

"... You're right." Akemi nodded and Dabi smirked.

"Women won't ever give you a glance because you're creepy."

Dabi's shoulders dropped as he dragged his feet to where his wife was. Mamoru looked at him.

"Look, Daddy's here!" He smiled at his mother, pointing at Dabi.

"Did someone die?" He asked.

When [Name] cried harder, he stared at her, dumbfounded. Mamoru gaped at him before comforting his mother again. Akemi shook her head at Dabi, appearing beside him.

"How did you know?" [Name] sobbed.

"Oh... I was right?" Dabi blinked. "Who died?"

"It's..." She let out a hiccup.

"My favorite character from my favorite show!"

Dabi and Akemi immediately raised their hands, literally saying ight imma head out.

Takami Keigo

"I'm already this old so why do I still get cramps on my period?"

Hawks stared at his wife, who was groaning now and then. His clueless daughter, Nanako, thought she was imitating the Godzilla in the television.

Kazuma came into the living room and set down a tray of apple tea and some cookies.

"... What are you, a butler?" Hawks asked.

"Drinking something warm will ease period cramps, is what I read on the internet." Kazuma said.

"Thank you, Kazuma!" [Name] beamed at her son who gave her a pat on her head before walking away.

"Isn't he the sweetest person alive?" She asked, sipping her tea.

"If he is the sweetest person, the one who made him must've been sweeter."

[Name] looked at her husband with a mocking expression. Hawks simply smiled and opened his arms.

"Right?"

He let out a chuckle when she dove right into his embrace. He placed his chin on her head.

"Still a kid, I see."
