CHAPTER 23

Tantan dropped me off here at the mall and said he'll just come back for me later.

Dave says that he's already here inside the Mall at pupuntahan niya ako rito sa waiting area while Crizel is still on her way, because she passed something important earlier that's why she's late right now.

"Hey, my princess." Dave greeted me from behind, I hugged him.

"Hi Dave!" I greeted back.

"Kanina ka pa ba rito? I just bought something." He showed me the plastic bags he brought. Looks like he went to the grocery store.

"Naks naman, nag grocery siya!" Pang-aasar ko.

Guys like him are rare nowadays, who can go grocery shopping alone. Karamihan sa ibang lalaki puro pa-gwapo lang ang alam, sa tingin ko lang ah?

He also knows how to cook different foods. When he cooked for me once, I thought he ordered it from a nice and expensive restaurant because it was so delicious.

"Well uh, ano pa bang gagawin ko sa bahay? Edi luto lang ng luto." Natatawa niyang saad.

"You should go study HRM since you know how to cook," I suggested.

"Of course, I will study HRM," he answered with a smile. "You know how I really love cooking, right?"

I'm so happy that Dave and I are finally settled. We're back being bestfriends again. Naging kaibigan na rin niya si Crizel at nagkasundo naman kaagad silang dalawa kaya naman ang saya saya ko. Nawalan man kami ng isang kaibigan, atleast may dumagdag pero hindi papalitan.

"Yeah, that's great," tumango tango ako. "Love and chase your dream."

"Ok, I will love you then," he said while looking at me that's why my eyes widen. "Just kidding."

Nakahinga ako ng maluwag dahil hindi naman pala iyon totoo. Hindi ko kasi kakayaning mawalan at iwan na naman ng isang kaibigan.

"That's not a good joke ha," I warned him, and he laughed.

"I'm serious here." He said but I just ignored it dahil baka kung saan pa makarating itong pag-uusap namin.

Naputol ang pag-uusap naming dalawa ni Dave nang marinig ko ang malakas na boses ni Crizel. Kahit kailan talaga napaka lakas ng boses nito, hindi na nagbago.

Hiyang hiya naman ako sa sarili ko.

"Chloeeee! Daveeee!" Sigaw niya kahit sobrang layo pa ng pagitan namin, kaya naman nakuha niya ang ilan sa mga atensyon ng tao rito sa mall.

Napahawak na lamang ako sa ulo ko dahil sa kahihiyang ginawa ni Crizel.

"Kanina pa ba kayo rito?!" She shouted, even though we were now facing each other.

"Yes, we've been here for a while, can you please lower your voice kanina pa akong naririndi sa lakas ng boses mo at isa pa hindi naman tayo mga bingi rito!" I also shouted at her that's why Crizel and I laughed while Dave was just covering his ears.

"Huwag na kayong magtalo riyan," iiling iling na saad ni Dave. "Both of you are noisy."

"Tss, whatever." Crizel just rolled her eyes.
