CHAPTER 2

"Kriiiiing... Kriiiiiing!"

I woke up because of the loud noise from my alarm clock.

I wasn't planning to get up yet, so I reached my alarm clock to turn it off.

"Kriiiiing...! Kriiiiing....!"

This time, I already got up and sat on my bed. I turned around to the alarm clock that was making noise earlier and picked it up.

7:35 A.M

I'm already 5 minutes late! What time will I be able to go to school now?!

"What the fu-" I didn't finish what I was going to say because I hurriedly stood up and went straight to the toilet to take a bath.

I can't be late! Hell no! I'll be scolded again!

After taking a quick shower, I quickly put on my school uniform. I also brushed my teeth and decided to buy something to eat at school. I grabbed my bag and put on my shoes before going downstairs.

As soon as I stepped out of the house, lakad takbo ang ginawa ko para hindi na ako lalong ma-late.

And because I was in a hurry, I didn't notice that there was a big log blocking the way, so I tripped and fell!

I tried to stand up, but my knees couldn't move. My knee hurts so bad, and it's fucking bleeding!

I tried to stand up again, but I still couldn't. I looked at my watch and became even more nervous.

7:50 A.M.! I am so late.

I lifted my eyes and here I saw Ion in front of me. Nakalahad ang kamay niya sa harapan ko. I didn't know what to do.

Should I accept it? E' kung magpabebe kaya muna ako? Kunwari hindi ko kaya para buhatin niya ako? Ang landi ko naman kung gano'n. Pero wala ng oras para riyan!

Umiling iling ako at hinampas ng bahagya ang ulo ko.

"What are you doing?" Naw-weirdo-han at kunot noo niyang tanong sa akin.

"U-uh, um..." Hindi ko na natapos ang sasabihin ko nang bigla niyang tanggalin sa harap ko 'yung kamay niya. He grab my waist and helped me to stand up.

I was surprised by what he did. Hindi agad ako nakakibo.

I still can't believe what's happening right now. My heart is pounding. I don't like how fast my heart is beating. This is not normal.

"Hello? Are you listening?" He asked.

"H-ha?" Tanong ko sa kaniya pabalik.

"I said, we're going to the clinic. We need to have your wound checked," he said.
