25: Conspiracy

"Mas okay if she's gonna end up with me." Dagdag pa ni Jin with his shippish smile.

"Wag ka ng makisali pa sa kanila, Jin. Iba na lang ang pagkaabalahan mo." Adam said.

"That's right. Toby will be mad kung maririnig niya yang sinasabi mo."

Jin just chuckled but that playful smile was still on his lips.

"Miss!"

Masiglang bati ni Hazel kay Nyssa.

Of course, she was surprised.

She had her tray of food at nakapila silang dalawa ni Toby para sa mga ulam when suddenly Hazel was in front of her, wearing the uniform of school servants, and then she placed a large portion of chicken on her plate.

Nyssa was dumbfounded for a moment kundi pa siya siniko ni Toby.

She immediately faked a cough and straightened her expression.

"Hazel, what are you doing here?"

"Kinuha ako ng Central Cloud para maging school servant."

Once again, Nyssa faked a cough.

In truth, she was feeling uncomfortable.

She was incredibly cruel when she dismissed Hazel. Tapos ngayon, nandito siya sa harapan niya and serving her food. Wasn't this too much for a coincidence?

Nyssa was maybe less skilled but she wasn't entirely stupid at all. (Minsan lang daw 😏)

She could smell conspiracy in this very situation.

"Well, that's good for you."

Agad namang inabot ni Hazel ang dalawa niyang kamay.

"I am grateful for the school board, Miss. This way, I can still serve you like before."

Nyssa wrinkled her eyebrow and removed the hands of Hazel on hers. "Hazel, focus. The school hired you. Therefore, you should serve all of us here well, not just me."

Hazel pouted. "I know that, Miss. But you know, you are my old Miss, kaya naman I can't help being biased towards you.

"So just let me serve your food like this to make sure you are well fed like in the residence."

Napahinga na lang si Nyssa.

She couldn't understand Hazel. After all she had done against her, how could she still be this clingy?

Naputol ang iniisip niya ng biglang tumabi sa kanya si Toby. Muntik pa nga siyang maout of balance dahil nabangga siya nito sa gilidan.

"Of course, she'll let you do that. Si Anastasia pa ba?

"By the way, you can also make sure I am well fed too. After all, kaibigan ako ng Miss mo."

Nyssa gave Toby an incredulous look.

"O-okay." Mukhang nawwirduhan na sa kanya si Hazel. Fortunately, the maid valued her so much kaya naman inignore na lang nito ang pagkawirdo niya.

"Anyway, since mukha namang close na close kayo ni Miss, then I must treat you well too... Master." Nakangiti pang sabi ni Hazel sabay lagay din ng malaking parte ng manok sa plato ni Toby.

"Pfft..." Muntik ng mapahagalpak ng tawa si Nyssa.

Mabilis na nagpaalam si Toby kay Hazel saka hinigit siya palayo. When they finally reached their table, saka tuluyang napahagalpak ng tawa si Nyssa.

"Shut up." Sabay amba ng tuktok ni Toby kay Nyssa.

Agad na nakaiwas ang dalaga but she was still laughing.

"Titigil ka o bibigwasan kita?"

"Oo na... hahahaha... wait... hahahahaha... whooo!

"Grabe! Bilis ng karma no."

"Whatever! Kumain ka na kung ayaw mong ako ang kumain niyan."

Agad namang inilayo ni Nyssa yung tray niya dito.

"Tch! Walang agawan...

"...Master."

Saka tumawa ulit si Nyssa.
