Jasey pov

It was around a week later. I was at Alex's for band practice. They were in the middle of coffee shop when I got a phone call. I excused myself and walked out of the garage.

"Hey," I say putting the phone on speaker seeing it was Gray.

"Hey," he says. "What's that noise?," he asks.

"Oh sorry I'm at Alex's and they're in the middle of band practice," I explain.

"Oh, I was wondering if you wanna hang out?," he asked.

"I cant right now, I'm at Alex's for another hour and I'm also a mess," I say.

"Hey it's okay, we can hangout after practice, give me Alex's address and I'll come get you," he says.

"Yeah, but also warning I've been with Jack all day so I look like a mess," I say.

"Hey it's okay, I bet you still look great anyways," he says.

I laugh a little. "Alright I'll send you Alex's address, be here in a hour?,".

"I will," he says.

"Alright good bye gray," I say.

"Alright talk to you later Jasey," he says.

After he hangs up I send him Alex address.

Once I walk back into the garage the guys are drinking water and talking.

"Hey how come you left?," Jack asks.

"Oh um Gray called me," I say.

"Oh," he says.

"Yeah, oh also I dont need a ride Gray is coming to pick me up in a hour," I say.

"Oh okay," he says. "We still on for towmorrow?," he asks.

"I wouldn't miss it for the world," I say.

"Promise?," he asks.

"I promise," I tell him.

When Gray arrives I say good bye to my friends and get in Grays car.

"Hey Jasey," he says.

"Hey gray," I say.

"So what should we do?," he asks.

That's when I relised. Gray and I were apart of separate worlds. I go out get drunk in parking lots and go out to shows with my friends. Gray is the opposite, he is obsessed with birds and drinking soda, and his hats.

"Um you can pick," I say.

"No come on what do you do with your friends?," he asks.

"Uhh," I say. Memories of doing dumb shit with my friends just came to mind.

"Really I dont care," he says.

"Well we can always go and walk around target," I say looking at him.

He laughs. "Awe Jasey rae scared I wont fit in with her friends," he says. "Ive seen you guys at target," he says.

I just cringe.

He laughs. "Dont worry Jasey I know we're from diffrent worlds," he says.

I look at him dead in the eyes. "Come to Alex's party next weekend," I say.

"Wow hold on," he says. "Like a high school party," he says.

"Yeah and you will also get to met my friends better and met Zack," I say.

"Will there be drinking?," he asks.

"Its Alex so most definitely," I say.

He gives me a look.

"Please gray it will be so fun," I say.

"Okay fine, but only to get to know your friends better," he says.

"Thank you gray," I say.

"No problem," he says putting his hand in mine.
