Elana's P.O.V.

Rick decided to teach me and Carl how to shoot a gun. Carl got the hang of it right away but I didn't. "Here let me help." Carl says and comes up behind me. "Bend your elbows." he whispers and kisses my shoulder as he fixes my arms"Don't freak out over it." Carl whispers and I nod. "Ready?" Carl asks and I nod. "Aim....." he says and pauses with a smirk on his face as I put my finger on the trigger "Fire." he says and I pull the trigger. The gun came back a little but I was strong enough to stop it. I hit the bottles that I was aiming at right on target and Carl smiles "And it's as easy as that!" He says and kisses me. We did it a couple more times then I went and got Madie. "Want see Oreo?" I ask and Madie smiles "Yeah!!" She says and I nod. I bring her see Oreo. "She's so pretty!" Madie says as she sits on the black horses with white dots every where. I feel a pair of arms wrap around my waist and someone puts there head on my shoulder. "Hey." Carl says and kisses my jaw. "Hey there." I say and Carl pushes his hands into my front pockets. "What are you girls doing?" Carl asks and his hot breath tickles my neck. I giggle "We're playing with Oreo!" Madie says and Carl nods. Carl kisses my neck "I love you." he whispers and I smile. "I love you too."i say and lean my head back on Carl's shoulder then kiss his lips and Carl kisses me back. Carl wraps his arms around my waist. "Nanny!Carl! Ewwww!" Madie says and I pull away from Carl. "Madie can I steal nanny for a sec?" Carl asks and Madie nods "Yeah I'm going take a nap on the couch." Madie says and yawns. She gets off the horse, hugs me then leaves. Carl puts his back up against the wall and looks at me. "Guess what." Carl says as I walk over to him. I wrap my arms around his waist while I lay my head on his shoulder. "What?" I ask as Carl kisses my head. "I love you baby." Carl says and I smile. "I love you too." I say and Carl smiles. "Can we go somewhere?" Carl asks "Where?" I ask and look at him "Somewhere were we can be alone." Carl says and I look around "Well were alone now." I say and Carl smiles. He kisses my lips and I kiss him back. "I've been wanting to talk to you about something." Carl says and sits down on a chair that was in the stables. I sit down on his lap and throw my legs over the arm rest. He puts his hands in my lap as I start to play with them. "Has Shane been next to you?" Carl asks and I shake my head. Carl sighs "He said he's getting closer and closer to hurting you every day. He said he wanted to rape you.He said you were a beautiful but annoying thing that deserves to be hurt." Carl says and I stand up. I was scared "I'm gonna go walk." I say and Carl grabs my hand "It's gonna be fine nothing will happen!" Carl says and I take my hand away "I just. Im gonna go walk." I say and kiss Carl's cheek "I love you." I say as I walk away into the woods. I'm so stupid for doing this all the time but what am I suppose to do? I heard a chuckle "Your a dumbass little girl." I hear Shane say. I see him walk in front of me. "Carl told you. why didn't you stay with him princess? You know your gonna die know right?" Shane asks and backs me up against a tree. "Carl!" I yell and Shane slaps me "Your gonna keep your mouth shut princess or you'll get it" Shane says "No!" I yell as Shane puts his hand up my shirt. Shane slaps his hand over my mouth and kisses my cheek "Now sweetie you'll enjoy this.... maybe." Shane says with an evil smirk. He takes his short off then mine. "Momma! Carl! Please!" I cry as I try to get away from Shane. "Your so pretty for a twelve year old. Damn." He says and I cringe at that. "Dad!" I hear someone yell and Shane looks up. Carl was there with a scared look on his face. Shane gets off of me and grabs my arm and Carl's. "You shouldn't have came." Shane says and ties Carl up to a tree then pushes me to the ground agin. He pulls off my pants then smiles "I can see why you like this girl so much now Carl. She's fucking hot." Shane says as he touches my entire body. I close my eyes and start to cry "
as he peals my shirt off. "Don't you dare say that!" Carl yells and tried to get free.Shane hooked his fingers around my underwear and was about to pull them down as he licked my neck. "Stop please!" I cry and try pushing him off "Stop!" Carl yells "Shane what the hell!" I hear Rick yell as Shane and takes him off of me. Rick untied Carl as my momma runs towards me. "Shh it's okay." my mom says as she hugs me. "Ella." Carl says and goes to touch me and I flinch. "E-Ella" Carl says. He looked like his heart shattered into a million pieces. "Ella baby.. what.... why are you...." he asked so confused. He stands up and looks at Shane "Thanks to you she's scared of me!" Carl yells "She won't even let me touch her!" Carl yells agin and I cry even more. Carl squats down in front of me "Baby please" he begs and i run my face. "I tried helping you!" Carl says and stands up "Carl stop!" Rick says and grabs Carl's hand "No! I tried helping her and now she's being a little stuck up brat! I'm only trying to be there for you Elana!" Carl yells "You are no longer able to see my daughter or Madie! Think you can come into my daughters life and call her a stuck up brat? Because you can't! Know Rick I suggest you keep your son away from my daughter!" My momma says as tears rapidly come out of my eyes "You two are no longer dating." My momma says "Wait we have to let her decide that." Daryl says and I look at Carl "I'm sorry." I say and shake my head. "You know what I don't give a shit I'm so fucking done with you you bitch!" Carl yells and Rick grabs his arm firmly "I better never hear those words come out of your mouth ever agin! And you better never call Elana that agin or I'll beat your ass like I'm about to do! She just nearly got raped and your gonna yell at her!" Rick yells then I shake my head "Please just go!" I cry as Daryl yells at Shane and Maggie gathers my clothes "No..... no I'm sorry.God I'm so stupid!" Carl says and Rick yanks on his arm "Lets go-" "No! Elana baby please! Im.... I just need you as much as you need me right now." Carl says as Maggie helps me stand up. I put on my clothes "Just go!" I yell as tears still run down my face. Rick pulls Carl backwards and Carl pulls away. "Baby I love you so much please I can help you! Elana come on please!" Carl begs and I look at Maggie "Take me to the house please." I say and Maggie nods. "Come on Carl!" Rick says sternly and tried pulling him away "No! no! Let go of me! I love her and just saw her nearly get raped I'm going with her wether she likes it or not!I was just man and didn't mean what I said." Carl says and gets out of his dad grip. Maggie brings me to my room and Carl stays in there with me. I was laying in a bed and Carl was sitting in a chair next to the bed playing with my hair but making sure not to make physical contact because each time he would I would flinch then move further away. "Im so sorry. I love you so much." Carl whispers as I lay in bed while silently crying. "My beautiful love." Carl whispers and plays with my hair some more as I clutch Sophia's doll to my chest. "Carl I need to talk to you." I hear someone says and Carl nods. "D-Don't leave pl-please!" I cry and Carl looks at the person who was Lori "I'm not going if she doesn't want me too."Carl says and Lori nods then closes the door. "C-Can you l-lie down with m-me?" I ask and Carl kisses my temple which causes me to flinch a little then relax"Will it make you feel better?" Carl asks and I nod. Carl lays down besides "Can I touch you or no?" Carl asks softly and I hide my face in his chest "Just make me feel safe.Im scared and your the only thing that can make me feel better." I whisper and Carl wraps his arms around me tightly and tangles our legs together as I wrap my arms around his neck. "I feel so bad." Carl whispers and I sigh "Don't talk about it. Just promise you will keep me safe." I say and Carl kisses my forehead "Always babygirl." Carl says and I slowly feel asleep. This didn't mean we were together still but I needed someone someone I loved and trusted and Carl was that someone.
