Each step she walked in the side walk
made a small tapping noise.

The area was always quiet when she goes on the route,
and the only visible sound was her walking―

and the whispering of the leaves,
either from the trees or being caught in the wind.

But then―

there was another sharp noise.

The screeching of a car.

Hana realized the car was going to her direction―

She felt her heart stop as the vehicle
went crashing towards the sidewalk.

The last thing she saw,

was the driver suddenly jolting awake―

trying to evade Hana.

But, it was already too late.

The car had hit Hana with enough force
to pull her from her consciousness.

A terrifying pain ran through her abdomen,

and her back―

a pain she would no longer be able to feel afterwards.
