A couple of days pass, and it was Nao's final day at the hospital.

A specialist had checked his eyes.

Nao anxiously went through the standard tests of checking his eye's vision.

His eye vision had blurred due to the injury that was caused by his fall.

The thought of not having his vision back ate away at him.

"Michiki-san, there is one way where we could restore some of your vision—

we could make your own special eyeglasses."

Although the specialist offered good news,

it affected him negatively.

"Does that mean... my eye cannot see without eyeglasses?"

He asked, knowing full well what the answer of the doctor would be.

"It won't be able to."

Even though he was now able to stand on his own,

he felt his knees become weak.
