That happiness had seemed to be a trick of fate.

Hana was going home from school with her friends.

Her friend asked their other classmates loudly.

"Hey! Chocolate or strawberry?"

The others were about to get ice cream from a place that they frequented after school.

"Sorry, I have to go home!"

Hana remarked.

"Eh― something the matter?"
her classmates asked.

"Errands at home,"

She stated.

As she went to walk towards her route,

the setting sun glimmered over the horizon.

She often thought of the sun's setting as a way of saying:

"Today, I'll be gone.
But tomorrow, I shall watch over you again."

She giggled quietly as she headed home.



Although,





she never made it.
