"Why don't you sit, Nao?"
Hana tapped the side of the bed with her hands."Please excuse me..."
Nao sat down on Hana's bed,
its softness bringing comfort to his tired body."You know..."
Hana spoke, as though in deep thought.
"I once thought,
what if one day, I was just gone?""What do you mean?" Nao responded meekly.
"What if I suddenly disappear anytime?
What if one day, I just... vanish?
I'm scared."There was clearly despair within her words,
as if she was fighting a losing battle against herself.Nao opened his mouth without thinking.
"I guess... I guess I'll look everywhere until I find you. I won't stop until I do.""Eh?..."
Hana was shocked to hear his response.
Her face turned red.He waved off his hands in apology.
Nao was in deep thought when he said such words.
"ーI'm sorry. Words just came out of my mouth."In a way, it was his real feelings.
Hana clasped her hands together.
"I-I see...""I needed that."
It was like a thorn in her heart was taken out."I'm really glad you're here today."
