Nao rested on his bed after a day full of regrets, memories― and hope.
He faced his left as he remembered everything that happened.
It was the first time he felt like this―
It was different from the innocence of a child,
and the maturity of an adult.
He recalled what Toru said to him.
Happiness.
and,
Love.
Nao sighed as he stood up to go to look at the window.
The sky was still full of stars, gliding towards the night to continue the cycle of day.
He thought to himself.
Do I deserve to be happy?
Do I deserve to be loved?
After everything?
He smiled as he reminisced what happened with Hana earlier.
Hana was the source of his strength.
She banished the abyss that was hiding in his heart for so long.
Instead, she now replaced its place in his heart.
Every time he remembers her,
a fluttery feeling comes over him.
"I'm the one hoping she wouldn't leave me alone."
he laughed silently as he looked at the stars.
"I… love Hana."
