You gasped as you almost collided with a few passing Shadowhunters. You couldn't spot anyone you needed to talk to and nobody would stop you. "Jace! I need your help." You shouted, making Jace sigh as he looked away from the mission board over to you.
"What do you need help with?" He asked reluctantly.
"Um well, there's magic pumpkins that have been carved with runes and gone evil." You explained as you hurtled to a stop next to him.
"If this is a joke, I'll kill you!" Jace said wearily.
"Jace, there's reports of Warlocks creating daemons that can be disguised as Halloween pumpkins, they're getting Mundanes to take them home." Alec said as he jogged over.
"Yeah, (Y/N) was just getting me up to speed." Jace said and Alec huffed as if he was surprised. "We're handling it." He added, gesturing for you to lead the way to the weapons room.
