Your POV:

We were told that we were right once more. We did survive another class trial, but this time... someone would be executed. I knew I was going to have to do something to bring Kirumi back... I'm not going to just let her die.
Some people were shocked that Kirumi was the culprit, but others weren't acting shocked about it.
One thing for certain that I wondered. Why did Kirumi murder Ryoma? There had to be a reasonable explanation on what happened. Many things could've taken place. I just wondered what would implore her to make that decision.
The only way Kirumi would've been motivated to do this would be if she watched her own motive video. She most likely killed Ryoma because of a request from her own motive video. There was no other reason I could think of...
Kirumi was staying silent. Everyone was wondering why she wasn't saying anything. I was wondering why she wasn't saying anything. Was she keeping it in so she wouldn't feel guilty?
Those were questions I kept asking myself.
Kirumi soon started to open up slightly. Not in the way you'd expect.
"I will consider this a final request, and tell you everything," Kirumi explained.
"No more lies, then. You better just tell us the truth, please and thank you," Kokichi explained in response.
"Kokichi, don't be rude," I told him sternly, "just let her explain herself."
"I agree with (y/n)," Rantaro explained, "let's consider this her awaited confession."
"I won't lie. I understand what I'm being told," Kirumi explained in response.
Kirumi was a lot more calm than she was during the last part of the trial. Now that she cannot hide what she did, she can't really act angry with us for it.
"Your reasoning was exactly right. The reason I murdered Ryoma..." Kirumi explained, stopping here explanation for a mere moment, "...was because of what I saw in my motive video."
It was as I thought... Kirumi did receive her own motive video and she did watch it. That did sadden me.
It was explained that Kirumi was the one who watched the video given to her. What were the chances of that happening when I got my own motive...
Apparently, the videos weren't supposed to be mixed up like this. It was because the Monokubs passed them out during the night. It was a huge misunderstanding according to Monokuma.
I did have questions though. What in Kirumi's motive made her kill Ryoma?
That was the question in my mind. I needed to know what her motive was about, and it seemed like my prayers were answered.
The video was displayed on Monokuma's huge screen. We were about to watch the video.
The video told us that Kirumi was called upon by the Prime Minister of a large nation. Kirumi was secretly running the country as a secretary. She was the true leader.
It did occur to me then of Kirumi's importance to this country.
Soon enough, the twist came, leaving the screen in black at the end. It shocked all of us.
Kirumi just wanted to save the people of the country she was running. Of course she sacrificed one of our lives to make that goal a reality. It would've been a reality if she didn't rip her gloves or dropped the inner tube. She would've committed the murder flawlessly.
I felt guilty about it though. I only had a few friends outside of here. Kirumi was the ruler of a country. She was the most important one here. I can't believe I realized this now instead of later.
Kirumi told us something weird. She told us that she didn't remember this until watching the video. This was very weird to me.
Kirumi explained that she was told to save the country from an unprecedented crisis. She fully accepted the request. She thought of it as an honor as a maid to serve the country itself.
This didn't stop anyone from being in shock about Kirumi being prime minister.
Kirumi only remembered so much of what was happening. It was like the Ultimate Hunt. We only knew about a little bit of what was going on. We didn't know the full story yet.
I honestly felt like we made a huge mistake. Kirumi weighted the lives of everyone outside versus us. Of course she'd choose the nation over us. If she died, they would probably die too. Did we make a mistake? Did we make a mistake because we were all too selfish to live?
There was no way Monokuma could kill that many people either. They said that they do not lie. This made me shudder slightly. They'd really be alright with killing millions of people in a country. That's messed up, and it made me want to cry.
It was discovered that Kirumi killed Ryoma for one reason. He was weak. He was the weakest among us all, but not in the way you'd expect. He is exceptionally strong physically. It was obvious because of how fast Ryoma is. He was even able to avoid Gonta somehow.
He was the weakest among us mentally. I honestly thought I was until this happened. If I were the weakest... I'd be the target.
I did understand what Kirumi meant though. Ryoma didn't have a reason to live. That's what he told all of us.
Kirumi then revealed that she took advantage of him. She explained that she asked him to meet her up in his lab to discuss something. She revealed her video to him, and told him everything.
She told us that he explained that he had no reason to live. He turned his back on her to clean up some tennis balls. That's when she told us that she struck.
It was honestly shocking to hear this from someone like Kirumi. I would've never expected her to kill someone. Even if it's for her nation.
Soon, Kokichi was trying to pin part of the blame on Maki for meeting up with him about his motive video. I honestly could understand why.
Suddenly, it hit me. I realized the reason Ryoma wanted Maki to give him his motive.
...He wanted to see if he had something important to live for. That was what I realized. Ryoma was desperately trying to find a way to find his motivation back.
I felt tears well up in my eyes. I should've helped him... I should've given a reason to live. I'm selfish.
'I'm a terrible person...' I thought.
I should've just tried to help him... like how others have been helping me.
Soon enough, it was proven that what my thoughts were were correct. By what Maki explained, and by what Ryoma's motive video showed. It showed that Ryoma had no one important to him to be used to kill. That really did sadden me...
He chose to let Kirumi kill him. He gave up. I desperately wanted to bring him back. I wanted to hug him and tell him that he's important. He deserved at least that much, but I couldn't do anything.
Soon something happened. People in room were offering to be killed instead of Kirumi. I understood where they were coming from. Kirumi has millions of people on her shoulders. Our lives mean nothing in this regard, so I agreed.
Kaito soon told us that anything is possible if we lived. It honestly surprised me that Kaito could give these speeches at the right time. Kaede joined him, and even told us more.
Kokichi then revealed to us that Kirumi wasn't giving up... even now... he told us that Kirumi telling us the truth was so she could get one of us to die in her place, or start a rebellion and escape on her own.
Kokichi was right. The one time I didn't want him to tell the truth, he did. I was still shocked. I didn't blame Kirumi for it though. She had to save everyone in her country. She has to live. That's what she said.
"I will do anything—ANYTHING—to survive!" Kirumi exclaimed.
Kirumi started to run. It wasn't graceful. It was sloppy and messy. She was desperate. I needed to stay with her to make sure nothing happens.
I found myself running after her. The only person who knew what I was planning was Rantaro.
Kirumi let out a huge scream as I ran after her.
"I have to escape! I won't die here!" Kirumi shouted.
Monokuma told her that she wasn't escaping.
After that, I had no idea what was going on since I had long left the room. The only thing we left to was people telling us to run. I wasn't planning on escaping. I just wanted to help Kirumi. I had my little device on hand for the time that something bad would happen.
"I will live! I refuse to die in a hellhole like this!" Kirumi exclaimed.
I was desperately trying to keep up with her. I need to help her.
"For my nation! For my people!" Kirumi shouted.
I've never seen Kirumi like this. She was like a caged animal trying to escape. I felt really sorry that this happened. I couldn't let her die.
"I WILL NOT DIIIIIIIIIIE!!!!!" Kirumi shouted.

3rd Person POV:

    Execution Start:

As Kirumi and (y/n) ran through the halls, crowds of people with signs blocked the way for the two girls. The signs they held were signs that told Kirumi to quit her job. They were people who would be on strike. They got closer and closer to the two girls, making them sweat in nervousness.
Something appeared in front of Kirumi. The thing that appeared in front of her was some sort of vine covered in thorns. What was seen was many spider web layers going up.
Kirumi grabbed the vine, causing her hand to be stabbed. Blood was noticeable from the wound. (y/n) was getting concerned.
Kirumi then started climbing the vine-like strand, leaving (y/n) to just watch in shock.
    "Kirumi don't!" (y/n) shouted.
It seemed like Kirumi couldn't hear her. (y/n) could do nothing but watch what was happening to the Ultimate Maid.
Signs were being thrown at Kirumi as she climbed the barbed strand, but she soon got far enough away to where the signs wouldn't reach her.
Kirumi stopped climbing for a brief moment from shock. Many circular saw-like blades were revving up. They started to activate around her, causing bright yellow and deep orange sparks to form. (y/n) saw this as she could only look up. She couldn't do anything about what was about to happen.
Kirumi narrowed her eyes. She knew what was going to happen, but she wasn't going to give up.
Kirumi started climbing the strand once more, the circular saw blades spinning and spinning. The blades cut through her skin and flesh as if it were butter. It was one after another. The blades showed no mercy on the maids uniform either. Kirumi was wincing in pain. The blades continued to cut her before she let out a huge scream from pain.
Despite all of the pain she was in, Kirumi hung on to the strand. Cuts littered her body, and her clothes were tattered and ripped. (y/n) was looking up as she saw what was most likely happening.
Kirumi was in so much pain that she was climbing, but slower. It was obvious by the way she moved that she was in pain.
The tattered girl saw a flash of light. It was like gold to her eyes. Gold and a gentle light blue.
Her hand ascended to meet the sun, as unnoticeably, the vine was starting to snap. Her hand continued to reach, but instead of sun, there was a drawing with a roach on it.
With that, the vine snapped, causing Kirumi to fall. Her eyes were widened in horror as her life flashed before her eyes. (y/n) was out of the way. The Monokubs were there. The green one pushed Monosuke down, knocking off his glasses.
As the yellow cub struggled to find them, Kirumi was falling. Once he had his glasses, the girl fell on top of him, crushing him in the process.
The scene was enough to make (y/n) pass out. Her friend's blood spotted around her. The last thing that happened was the drawing landing on Kirumi, being drenched with her blood.

Execution End:

Your POV:

My eyes widened as I witnessed that horrible execution. I fell onto my knees as I looked at the state Kirumi was in. I hoped it would work. It had to...
The device turned on as I was hunched over Kirumi. This caused the projected in the room to lose signal.
The Monokubs were long gone. They left when the picture fell on her.
I let the tears well up in my eyes. A couple of them dropped on her face, soaking into her skin.
All I had to do was wait. That's all I had to do. I waited a few minutes at first. Those few minutes turned into more than that.
I noticed the cuts on Kirumi disappear. Her bones were going back into place. I felt very happy.
Soon, as I was looking at Kirumi, her grey eyes opened.
"Wh-What happened?"

I'm giving this one to you all early! Be happy everyone! Now you all know some more about what happened. I have plans for this, and the Epilogue is after this. Be sure to give me predictions of chapter 3! Love you all! Ciao!- CRUSIFIXdroid
