Your POV:
I stared at the black and white bear that had cat ears instead of the round normal bear ones. The outfit it wore was a mock to all anime fans who loved Digimon or Yokai. It insulted me a great amount. I knew Monokuma wouldn't have been dead, but for him to go to this amount of ridiculousness. It pissed me off more than anything.
"And that's my cue to appear, kuma!" the terribly cosplayed Monokuma exclaimed.
"...What?" Kokichi asked, seeming to be in pure shock.
Tenko let out a huge scream, her being shocked about the reappearance of Monokuma. I honestly understood why she screamed. If I were as hopeful as her, I'd be shocked about this happening as well.
"M-Monokuma?" Kirumi asked.
"H-He's still alive!?" Kaito exclaimed.
"No, no, are you guys blind or something, kuma? I ain't Monokuma, kuma. After dying in a tragic car accident, I've been reborn as a Yo-Kai! Call me Jibakuma, kuma!" the badly dressed bear told us, "from now on, I'm the headmaster of the Ultimate Academy, kuma!
"So you think you're being funny right?" I asked.
Everyone turned towards my direction, seeming shocked that I'd comment on this. My face was shadowed as if I were upset about something.
"Everyone has hope to get out of here when you supposedly got crushed. You then have the nerve to break that hope in that god awful cosplay. It sickens me," I explained angrily.
"...Why the negative remarks Mrs. Otaku? Did I slip up or something?" Monokuma asked, without ending the sentence with 'kuma'.
"No duh ya fuckin' fraud! Go find another car to run you over! And this time, stay dead!" Miu shouted angrily.
"Ah geez... It's such a low-level cosplay, I can't bear to look," Tsumugi explained.
"I have an important question... Haven't you mistaken ghosts for yokai?" Kiyo asked, "yokai are mythological creatures first created back when humanity lived closely with nature. Back then, they were the embodiment of unexplainable natural phenomen—"
"Man you guys are buzzkills! I was all set for adventure before you started yelling at me!" Monokuma sulked, "this is why I hate teenagers! I'd have cash for days if I was dealing with the under 10 crowd!"
The Monokubs then appeared with their annoying one-liner. They seemed very shocked about their father being alive. The part that made my face look disgusted was when they were saying that they made stew with the robotic body. It also seems that there might be a machine that makes many spares. My thoughts were that it could be the door behind the bookcase. The mastermind could've gone there during the night and created a spare.
Monokuma then did a disgusting display of affection for the cubs, licking them and tossing them away when he was done.
Tsumugi asked if the killing game was going to continue. The obvious answer was a yes. Everyone was complaining, but Kirumi was reflecting on her past prediction. Monokuma didn't seem too happy about it, but he still kept an innocent look on his face.
"Is that so? Then did you also assume this next exciting development," Monokuma explained innocently.
Monokuma smirked showing sharp teeth. His left eye flowed red. This was a very scary thing to see, but we all seemed to expect that look. It was the same look he gave us while he announced the first motive. I assumed this was another one.
"Ahem! Now then, I'm pleased to announce an additional motive!" Monokuma exclaimed.
"An additional motive?" Kaede asked.
"A time limit is now in effect! If a murder does not occur by nighttime, two days from now... then every student participating in this killing game will die!" Monokuma explained in glee, "mauled to shreds by countless Monokumas from the rumored Monokuma-making machine! So unless you wanna end up as pink smears, you might wanna take this game seriously! Ahhhhh-hahahahaha!"
Everyone was in shock, their eyes widened to great amounts. I was no exception. I was shocked, considering the fact that I was going to die in two days with everyone else if no one died.
"T-Time limit?" Gonta asked in shock.
"What? Everyone will die?" Ryoma asked nervously.
"What!? That's not fair!" Tenko shouted.
"Geez, why'd you guys even come to this school if you're not gonna do the killing game?" Monokuma asked.
"You're the one who forced us to come here!" Kaito exclaimed.
The Monokubs popped up with more questions again. About the spare Monokumas. About them wanting to use the Exisals to end our lives. I stopped listening at that point. I felt like I was on the verge to collapsing. I felt so useless in this situation once again. I tried to help everyone, but I failed. I tried to inspire everyone, but I failed. I tried to have faith in myself, but I failed. Anything I did to try to get to others failed.
About five minutes later, Monokuma and the Monokubs left. I sighed lightly, gripping my head lightly. The feeling of sadness and despair once again went through. It was the feeling that could do nothing no matter how much I try. Kaede tried to get everyone together again, but everyone was starting to scatter. Before I knew it, the only ones left in the room were Shuichi, Kaede, Rantaro, Gonta, Keebo, Kirumi, Himiko, and Tenko.
"I can't die...." I muttered, "I can't yet. If I do.... it's not like anyone would really care. My speeches to try to get to you all will no longer work... I know that... I'm just going to head to my room. Don't follow me."
"Hey. Before you go (y/n). This is exactly what Monokuma wants us to do... So what else is a part of his plan.?" Rantaro asked, placing his hand under his chin and looking at me from a side view, "is my memory part of it too? If it is, then... can I even trust myself?"
"Rantaro...? What's wrong...?" I asked.
"*What's wrong,* she says," Rantaro replied, "hey, I have a question. This might sound a little weird, but... Does the term Ultimate Hunt ring a bell to anyone?"
"Ultimate Hunt?" I asked, "I don't know what that is... I'm sorry."
"What about it?" Keebo asked.
"...Nothing, forget it," Rantaro replied.
"Huh?" I asked.
The term "Ultimate Hunt" was brought up by Rantaro. It confused me so much that I was pulled out of my mind full of self esteem issues. I had no idea what that was, but it sounded like it had to do with all seventeen of us.
"What do you mean, Rantaro?" Kirumi asked.
"It's nothing, really. I'm just a bit confused is all," Rantaro replied, "everyone's a little anxious about not being able to remember how they got here, right? Well, in my case, not only am I dealing with that, I also can't remember my talent. So I guess I'm asking you to...bear with me if I say things that don't make sense sometimes."
I sighed lightly. I looked over at Kaede. She seemed very upset. She seemed to be upset that everyone was not uniting.
"Kaede it's going to be ok. I'm sure everyone will come around eventually. I'm going to go into my room now. I'm sorry for staying for too long," I explained before walking to my room.
I walked down to the dorm room, entering my dorm. I sat on the bed, wondering what to do now.
'Two days until the time limit ends.. what should I do now?' I thought.
(Freetime events start here)
I wondered what I should do for the time being. I had no idea what anyone else was doing. My doorbell soon rang, indicating that someone was at the door. I sauntered to the door, opening it.
Rantaro was in front of the door, giving me a kind smile and a wave. I smiled lightly and returned the wave.
"Hello Rantaro. What do you need?" I asked.
"Well despite what I said earlier before leaving the kitchen, I noticed you seemed a bit upset with the announcement about the additional motive. I wanted to ask you if you wanted to go the the library and look for some manga to make you feel better," Rantaro explained with a nervous chuckle.
"Yeah. I'm sure that will make me feel a bit better," I replied smiling lightly.
Rantaro smiled at me and offered me his hand. I took his hand, a light blush appearing on my face. We both slowly made our way to the library, unaware that someone was following us.
