"A fork dork"

A few weeks later..

Colby and I have an ultrasound appointment today, the first time we get to see our baby. I was finishing my makeup, this was my outfit.

"Babygirl!!" Colby smiles dancing into the room, I smile at his goofiness "Colbs!" I yell he dances over and lifts me up pulling me into his chest and dancing me around.

I giggle, leaning closer to him "Your the most beautiful girl in the world" Colby whispers into my ear I smile and peck his cheek "c'mon we get to go see our baby!" I say excitedly hopping around

Colby chuckles and grabs my hand, and we race down stairs. Colby grabbing his keys, "Wait! Jolby where are you going?" Jake asks

I look at Colby to make up an excuse "uhm- uh we- I" Colby begins "I'm on my period" I tell Jake nonchalantly

Jake and Colby both start to look uncomfortable, I start laughing. "See ya Jake" I say walking out the door "yup have fun guys" Jake says awkward

I hop in Colby's car laughing, "couldn't you have said anything else" he says tensely "awe I'm sorry Cole do periods scare you?" I joke

"Yeah kind of Jos-" he begins but I kiss him before he can finish "nope" I smile he kisses me back intensifying the kiss but I pull away "we're gonna be late, Brock" I smirk sitting back into my seat

Colby sits back putting his hand on my thigh which I place my smaller hand on his, with a smile.

We get called to the room at the ultrasound place, I look at Colby grabbing his hand he smiles at me gesturing for me to go ahead.

We follow the nurse back to a room, "so are you newlyweds?" The nurse asks with a smile, I shake my head "nope, just dating" I smile

She looks at Colby "gotta pop the question huh?" She jokes typing into the computer, I smile "yeah Cole"

He just smiles at me "guess I do" I look down nervously, the nurse chuckles "Jordan right?" She asks I nod to confirm

"Okay, the doctor will be in soon have a good day" the nurse smiles beginning to walk out "and you were?" She asks Colby

"Colby" he smiles shaking her hand "nice to meet you both, I'm Christina" she smiles "you too" Colby grins and she leaves

I sit back on the table thingy "this is really comfy" I say nuzzling into the cushion, Colby looks up from his chair

"Oh it is?" He smirks, I nod "and it's all mine" I grin stretching across the chair "oh we'll see about that Golbach" he smirks standing up and tickling me

I start laughing uncontrollably, "C-Colbs stop" I say through laughing "let me try it" he grins, I shake my head he keeps tickling me until the door opens

He stops, us both looking at the doctor who had a smile across his face, "she's got a contagious laugh?" He asks

Colby looks at him confused then replies "oh yeah the most contagious" he says, the doctor smiles wider with a nod

"Now I'm going to need you to lay back, Jordan" I nod and lean back, he puts this cold gel on my belly

Which I grab Colby's hand because it was so cold and he chuckles, "okay, this right here is your baby" the doctors says pointing at the screen

I lean up and squint my eyes not seeing it, "w-where?" I say "okay sweetheart do you see that little thing right there that kind of looks like a sweet pea?" The doctor asks pointing to a little place

I squint my eyes and nod clutching Colby's hand tighter, "that's your baby" the doctor says, and I start crying

The doctor smiles and walks towards the door "I'll give you both a minute" and he leaves I look at Colby and cry more

"Colby I don't see it" he gives me a hug "Hey, hey don't cry it's okay look I'll show you" He says and wipes my tears

He pulls the sonogram screen closer and points to a little tiny white dot and I begin balling "babygirl?" He asks "it's really tiny" I speak

He smiles and kisses my head "it's definitely a girl" he smirks I look at him like he's crazy "no way it's totally a boy" I smirk back

"A girl." He says "my belly. A boy." I grit my teeth the door opens again and the nurse walks in

"Here you guys go" She says hanging up three little sonogram pictures, I smile looking at the little pea sized baby

"And the ladies in front will schedule your next appointment in about 6 weeks and you'll see the gender" the nurse smiles

I nod, "Wait so she's 6 weeks right now?" Colby asks "correct" the nurse says Colby looks back to me and chuckles

I sit up, "thank you" I tell the nurse "no problem" she smiles and leaves "So can we name our daughter Katniss?" Colby asks

I look at him weird "Katniss? Seriously?" I raise a brow "that's so badass, it's like a superhero" -he makes cat claws- "GRR"

I bust out laughing "your such a dork"  "a fork dork?" He questions "duh" I chuckle and he kisses my head
