"in a ditch somewhere"

Everyone had woken up now and we were planning to leave for LA around 3pm, t's now 12pm still no sign of Kailani we all tried texting and calling her but it just keeps going to voicemail. "C'mon Jordan i'm sure she's okay" Kat says sitting next to me on the couch, i shake my head "No way, Lani doesn't do this."

"Let's just go to breakfast and maybe she'll be here waiting when we come back" Devyn suggests "you guys go, i'm gonna try and look for her see if someone working last night saw her" I say "Jordan-" Devyn begins "i have to make sure she's okay. I'm not hungry anyways" i shrug they nod "We'll be back in a little bit then" Katrina says

"Okay, let me know if you see her please" I speak desperately "We will" Devyn says "Relax a little chica she probably just went home with a guy" Maddie tells me i raise my brows at her "She could be dead in a ditch Mads!" i exclaim

"She isn't dont talk like that. she'll come back" Katrina says, i nod and they leave. I decided to shower and get ready wearing this:

I hear my phone ring from it's spot on the charger in the living room area I hop up sprinting to the phone

I sigh and answer "Hey babygirl" Colby smiles he pauses "You look anxious what's wrong?" Colby asks "Kailani still hasn't came home" I say

"Still? Have you tried calling or texting her?" He asks "No I fucking haven't Colby. What do you think" I snap "sorry" he says quietly "look i've gotta go, i'll talk to you later" i say angrily "Bye i love you" "i love you too" i say then hang up

i try calling Kailani again and again, texting and i even walk around the hotel asking if anyone seen her. The others had gotten back from breakfast and were also helping look for her, Devyn called the police station incase she got arrested or something. Nothing. Katrina called the club to see if maybe she had passed out somewhere last night, they didn't know either.

It was now 3:30pm i walk back into the room after searching the hotel one last time "Fuck" i shout slamming the door "Calm down its okay" Maddie tries to say "No. my fucking best friend is gone no where to be seen She's probably fucking kidnapped i swear to god if i find out who took her they're gonna be dead" I slur angrily they just look at me stunned.

I feel blood my boil through my veins, rage, anger, fear, hurt, blame, i stop leaning against the wall i slowly slide down it and tears fall down my cheeks "This is all my fault i shouldn't of gotten so drunk, i should've stayed near her" I tuck my head in my knees "and now i may never see her aga-" I get interrupted by the door opening

I look up and see Kailani, perfectly fine, not a scratch, she was in a guys t-shirt and had no makeup except last nights now smeared. Slowly, i stand up i run and hug her than pull away "Where the hell were you?!" i exclaim "I went home with the sexy bartender" She smirks setting down her bag

"And you couldn't bother to tell any of us?" i say fury building up once again "I'm 22 Jordan i don't need to explain my life to you" She snips "i didn't say you do Kailani but at least don't leave us all here worrying" I shout "I just wanted to have fun okay?! for once i wanted to feel like i was before free." She yells back

"I thought you were dead in a god damn ditch!" i yell back "Well maybe you shouldn't be so absorbed in my life" she remarks, i scoff "what do you want me to just not care?!" i argue "thats exactly what i want!" Kailani yells "Fine then." i snip "Fine" she crosses her arms

i shake my head and go pack my remaining stuff "I'm putting this in the car. since little ms. princess had to go be irresponsible and make us all late" I snap walking out of the room Devyn nods to me before handing me the car keys.

When i came back into the room Kailani and Maddie were in the room Kailani and i had shared talking, Devyn and Kat were cleaning "Guys you don't have to clean this all by yourselves" i say guiltily "No its okay" Devyn says sweetly

I start helping them clean "Are you okay?" Kat asks, i nod "Yeah i'm great. Especially with the two people i thought were my bestfriends since 7th grade talking behind my back" I say the last part loudly

"It'll be okay girly" Devyn says side- hugging me i hug back "I'm glad i get to see Colby and Naia though" i smile "She really is the cutest puppy" Katrina says "Navi loves cuddling her" Devyn says "So that leaves a question when are you and Sam getting a fur baby Kat?" i wiggle my brows "Not soon" she laughs nervously.

The three of us finish cleaning and Maddie and Kailani walk out with their stuff, Kailani gives me a stank eye, me returning an eye roll "Okay! are we ready?" Devyn says cheerfully everyone nods.

"Okay how about i drive and Kailani why dont you sit up front with me?" Kat says Kailani nods hopping into the passenger seat, i throw my black beanie on my head sitting in the backseat behind Kat. Devyn sits in the middle of Maddie and i, and now for a long 4-5 hour drive.
