I enjoy the person I am today.
But I can't help but wonder.
What if my mother chose us?
What would that be like?
The culture here is nothing like mine.
Would our family be closer despite the sea that divides us?
If my parents had chosen us?
I can't change them now.
I can change how I react to the situation.
I can change how I will act in the future.
But I can't help but wonder.
Mother, what if you chose us?
