Blissful glances come from the peers

Of a foriegner, who returns their glances with a smile.

Teachers push for excellence

Amused by the foriegner's interpretation

Each passing day, in the hall, the foreigner is regarded

Small conversations hold deep meaning for those who speak to the foreigner.

The people in the streets, on the route to the foriegner's school, at first appearance they cringed but now

Four months have passed and they're used to the foreigner

No words are exchanged but the aura in the street itself had altered

Instead of the discomfort on their face, the foreigner brings a different feeling

Bewilderment crosses their minds

They wonder, what brought the foreigner here

Their words are caught in their throat

As they realize the barrier of language between them

And the city has eyes

All around, the foriegner is known

As a factor of mystery

Why are they here? The main question the city wants to know.

The pale skin, a beauty in a sea of brown

Most foriegners are visitors and the culture reflects

In the streets, center to the city, they raise their prices

Because the coin of the foriegner is a thirst

But this foriegner is unlike those

A meer child compared to them

This foriegner amuses the people of the central

In the center, it's not the money they want from this foriegner, they crave explination

Daily lives of hunger, poverty, and elders who've lost their minds

How can this foriegner come here with our skin?

Is it mocking us? Putting it in our face that they are not one of us?
