The thought of you is burried within me.
A curse. That's not the thought that comes to mind.
At first, you were a person who was loving and caring and you were even daring-
Daring enough to have feelings for meBut I was young and so were you
Once, you lit up my days and my nights
A team, we were.
Fighting each day as partners of crime. Then one day, we became strangers
Deep down, I knew you had darkness within you
It didn't bother me because I was light and you were my shadowAn exact date of our distance isn't clear to me.
What is clear are the words you spoke to me but that I shook off.
"I don't love you." You said.My response was, "We're like siblings. Of course, you don't."
Those words you said had a different meaning.
However, at that moment I knew,That the light I had within me was too bright for a person like you
To this day, I don't know what I did
Thankfully, I've made peace with the unknownAlthough, to this day,
You are still bitter.
Go ahead and bicker.
Because I'm at peace.
Unlike you.
