It hurts.
In the deepest part of my soul.
A venomous agony that pulses.
For I know that there's no escape. My inner walls, collapse.
Destruction- within,
The tidal waves crash against my vessel
Contained, it is
This turmoil inside of me.For comfort I call my friends
Only two physically prevail
I lean against them, and the waves subside,
To potential energyAs the hour passes
My curse is released
I say good night
And my heart cringesTo the sides of the common people
The distant family of the building I live in
Of five languages we speak.
And tonight, a sixth is revealed. The sixth being an unspoken language
Of spirutal prevail.
They come to my side
Without knowing, how much they help my soul calmYet the moment I step away
The hurricane triggers again
My hands shake
Tears fall
I can't think straightMy words are lost
I grasp for a pen
And begin to scribble
For the energy converts into kentic
And the waves crash down in ink on my paper.
Somehow contained in something so fragile.
So thin.
