Hayat's POV:

"Aayat is dead."

There was a moment of silence between us. I was holding my breath, he was silent looking blankly at the floor. After sometime he shook his head.

"Do I look like a fool, Hayat?"

"No?!" I sounded a bit unsure.

"U are not even sure! What do u even think of me! I am the next in line of the ma-... Never mind. Aayat just vanished after u and mom ran away with her. So she is supposed to be with u... And don't that girl.. What's her name? Nandini right? Call u Hayu di?! U guys are quit close for a roommate."

I didn't know what to say. I didn't even bother to look at him. He knew who is Aayat still played with me.

" Cut the crap Arsal. U knew from the beginning that she is Aayat. Why bother playing with me? Stalking, threatening, attacking why?"

"You are smart Hayat. And to answer your question, I missed my little sister so I was just playing with her just like old times." he said grinning at me.

"U became like him." I looked at him with tears in my eyes. Because I didn't see my sweet brother in him.

"Mom left me with him remember." he said coldly.

"Please.. She doesn't know.. She doesn't even remember, she was too young for that. Don't drag her into this." I pleaded...

"That I figured but there is no point of dragging when she already belongs here. He is going to meet her soon." I felt like something hard fell on my head when he said that.. Everything was going out of control and him meeting her? I don't even want to think.

"No! I can't allow it to happen."

"Don't worry even if they meet,I will make sure he doesn't do anything to harm her. U just focus on ur competition."

"How am I going to do it? I need to see her."

"I told u she will be ok. I didn't want all these to happen at the time of ur competition.. But we can't control everything."

"What if he wants to take her back with him?" I was afraid.. I don't even stand a chance to stop him.

"He can't because things are not easy as before. I am sorry I couldn't hide u both.. I knew about u much earlier but didn't let him know but I couldn't manage it longer."

"U knew?" I looked at him with wide eyes.

"I did. But he got to know and everything is messing up.

" What did u meant by things are not easy as before? "

" U will know.. But u should eat and rest.. U have to focus on ur competition. Don't think u are going to have some special treatment just bcz u are my sister." He chuckled and I smiled a little.

Though his jokes are as pathetic as before but some jokes are still good.

"U are still here? Man why are u always stick with my assistant." Murat glared at him.

"U came back that fast? Well I was leaving and I will not say anything today if u stay longer but careful." Arsal dismissed him and leave from my room.

"Were u crying? What the heck he said to you?" Murat asked looking concerned.

"We just needed some things to clearify and please don't ask about those things."
