A/N:

*Cough* Nope, totally haven't been gone for over two months... yup.

Anyway, I do apologize for my absence, but if you were reading my Afterdeath book I've been more active there.

I'ma be honest I was really feeling for some Poth fluff and I completely blame Myoukin for her absolutely amazing Poth writing (Which I totally recommend. I've personally reread it like three times). Also, interestingly enough, I was writing a good portion of this while sitting in a Circuits and Logic college class, fun class but multi-tasking is also a thing.

Also, I'm going to admit I've been almost uninterested in writing my requests so I've just been drabbling in my owns things to hopefully get me going again. (Don't get me wrong I'm not falling out of this, it's just that I've had more interest to write my own stuff I guess, which inadvertently is mostly Afterdeath) I will try to get some more request out soon, thanks for your patience until then. Enjoy!

Goth's POV::

I took a deep breath before knocking on the door, waiting to hear confirmation of answering. I heard the sound of a lock being turned, causing me to tense up for a moment in fear of my impromptu drop by being a bother. The door opened and I was met with the surprised expression of my mother, albeit pleased at the same time.

"Goth? What are you doing here?" I fiddled with the bottom hem of my t-shirt, fumbling through my words.

"I uh... was... well, wondering if I could talk to you about something," My mom appeared confused for a moment, trying to guess what I could be insinuating.

"Sure," He quickly gestured me inside and I made my way into the kitchen, helping myself to take a seat at the table. Mom walked into the kitchen quickly, taking two mugs out and pouring some conveniently fresh tea into each. He set one in front of me before taking a seat across with his own mug in hand. "What is it sweety?" My mother grew more concerned at my relative silence, watching me still nervously fiddling with shirt under the table, ignoring the mug.

"Well, I was going to ask..." I looked down on the table, feeling embarrassed to even ask him, hoping to pinpoint some kind of solution in the intricate swirled of the wooden table or lightly swirling steam of the tea just to avoid the question: alas, nothing. "...h-how would one go about bringing up the subject of children to their significant other...?" I was scared to even look up, my face clearly growing deep mauve. There was a heavy silence that settled, making me both reassured and nervous, hesitantly looking up to face my mother again; He appeared wide-eyed at me, his hands wrapped around the curved surface of the mug, the corner of his mouth seemingly curling up slightly. "Mom?" He rests one of his elbows on the table, leaning his chin on the heel of his palm, smiling a little more brightly.

"You wanted to ask Palette, didn't you?" I looked away slightly, nodding, "You think you two are ready?"

"Maybe..." I mumbled, hearing a quiet chuckle from my mom, "So mom, how did you ask dad?" I continued timidly, seemingly surprising my mother with question a bit.

"Actually I never did. If anything your father was the one to try to convince me. Honestly, I was originally uncertain about the idea of having kids but your dad was very insistent," My mom let off a disheartened chuckle as he traced his thumb over the rim of the mug.

"Oh..." I found that a disconcerting notion, grabbing the mug in front of me and sipping it slowly, finding it relaxed me along with the reassurance that my mom isn't freaking out about the subject as I assumed he would.
