Shawn's pov

I walked into the local coffee shop. I took a deep breath in, smelling the coffee.

This place has so many memories. They're bitter sweet. This was my favorite spot to take Y/n, in fact this is where we met.

I smiled as I recalled the memories.

"What would you like sir?" The barista smiled. "I will take just coffee, black." I got out my wallet it as she rang it up in the register.

"That'll be $4.39." I nodded and took out a five. "Keep the change." She smiled. "Thank you, here's your coffee."

I grabbed my coffee and thanked her.

I felt my chest tighten a bit and my smile falter when I passed by our booth on the way out.

There was just something about this place. It hurt to come here, yet I couldn't stop. In a way it's all that I had left of her.

When I come here I can't help but wonder if she thinks about me at all. I wonder if I ever even cross her mind anymore.

I know she's with someone new, but you can't just let go of what we had right? You can't let go of how it felt, the love and joy it brought to us.

I know it wasn't just me who felt that. It couldn't be, I remember seeing the joy in her eyes, the way they would light up when she looked at me.

You can't fake that. Love is something that's true, and pure and you can't act like it's not there if it is.

But if I go to her and she doesn't love me anymore, then it's gonna tear me apart, but if I go and she does. What happens?

I know she's happy with him, does she have to give that up. Will I only make the situation worse.

No matter what I do someone will get hurt, but somehow I get the feeling that she might feel the same way.

A/N: I know it's short, but tell me what you think about this one please. I want to hear feedback if I should do more stuff like this.

Love you! ❤️
