Never Be Alone

Shawn and I were cuddling at the Mendes's household.

"You know this is our last day together before I leave for tour." I felt the tears stinging the back of my eyes. I squeezed him tighter. "Don't remind me." He chuckled.

"Shawn please." I said laughing while wiping my eyes. "Awe baby, please don't cry. It'll only be a couple months, then I'll be home again."

"Only a couple months Shawn. I don't even want to go one day without you, now I have to go months without seeing you." He cupped my cheek with his hand.

"I know darling, but let's focus on the time we have. This'll be the last time I see you before I go on tour. I don't want to spend this time sad. I want to stay positive." I smiled. "Okay."

I cuddled back into him, and laid my head on his chest. He put his hand around my waist and pulled me close to him. I breathed in his cologne. This always had a way of calming me down.

Being with him makes me feel at home. I don't know how I'm going to go without him.

I slowly drifted off to sleep, feeling safe and sound.

I felt Shawn lightly shaking me. "Come on Love. Wake up, it's late. You need to get home." My eyes opened quickly. No. There is no way I slept through my whole time with Shawn.

"Wait how late is it. I don't have to be home until midnight tonight." He sighed. "I know it's 12:15. Don't worry about getting in trouble. My mom called your parents so they wouldn't get mad." I let out a breath of relief.

"I guess I really do have to go huh?" He sighed. "Yeah." We stayed in a saddening silence. He grabbed my hand, intertwining our finger together. "Come on I'll walk you home." "Okay."

He walked me next door, tears already pouring down my face. I looked at Shawn to see the tears in his eyes also.

I engulfed him in a hug. "I'm going to miss you so much Shawn." "I'm going to miss you too Y/n." I sobbed into his chest.

This is only his second time going on tour. I'm not used to him being gone for so long. I miss him so much when he's gone.

"I love you Y/n I will see you soon. I'll text you every chance I get, and we will FaceTime after my concerts. Who knows maybe you can come to some of my shows." I nodded my head.

"Okay. I love you so much. See you soon." I kissed his lips softly, and gave him one more hug.

"Goodbye love."

"Goodbye."

I walked inside and went straight up to my room. I took off my makeup, put my hair in a messy bun, and changed into my pajamas. I lied down on my bed and tried to go to sleep.

I tossed, and turned for hours. I tired to go to a sleep, but I couldn't. I couldn't stop thinking about Shawn. I'm going to miss him so much much.

I got my phone and texted Shawn to see if he was still awake. I know it's kind of selfish considering he has an early flight tomorrow, but I'm just checking to see if he's awake.

Me: Are you awake?

Shawn: Yeah, why?

Me: I can't sleep. I miss you so much already Shawn.

Shawn: Don't worry, I'll be there in a second. ❤️

I heard a knock at my window. I smiled as I hopped out of bed. I opened the window and let him in.

He engulfed me in a hug. "I missed you." I breathed in the scent of his cologne. Home.

"I'm sorry to call you over here. I know I am just being a baby."

"No it's okay Y/n I'm your boyfriend. This is what I'm here for...here lay down." He said pulling the covers up for me.

I lied down under the covers. He laid down beside me and held me close. "Just try to go to sleep." "What about you? You have an early fli-" He cut me off. "Don't worry about me, okay? Just get some rest." I nodded.

I closed my eyes and relaxed under his touch. He started humming Never Be Alone.

"Take a piece of my heart
And make it all your own
So when we are apart
You'll never be alone
You'll never be alone..."

I slowly drifted off into a deep peaceful sleep.
