Shawn and I are heading to the bowling alley with Matt and Brian. It was just going to be Shawn and I, but somehow they found a way to tag along...like always.

We arrived at the bowling alley. We got our shoes and our lane.

"Lane 12?" I asked Shawn. "Yes." I set my shoes and phone down at our table.

"Time to go get a ball!" I yelled, running towards the rack where the balls were held. I felt a pair of hands wrap around my waist, and before I knew it my feet were off the floor.

"Shawn! Put me down! You're going to cause a scene!" He put me over his shoulder as he was laughing. "I think you are the one causing the scene y/n." He said.

"Whatever Mendes." I said as he put me down.

I looked around for a size 8 ball. I found one, and it was neon orange. I reached for it, but someone's hand was there before my own.

I looked back to see Shawn holding his ball and my own, a cheeky grin on his face. "I've got it." He said still smiling. I smiled back. "Thank you Shawn." I walked in front of him and to our table.

Shawn, Brian, and Matt all set the balls down on the place where you put the balls. (A/N: Idk what it's called 😂.)

"So who's going first?" Brian asked. "Ooh I will!" I said excitedly. They all laughed. "Well I guess we know who's going first." Brian said as I see my name pop on to the screen.

He finally finished putting the rest of our names in. "Okay. You're up Y/n." I smirked. "Okay."

One thing these boys don't know is, that I was in a bowling league when I was younger...so I would say I'm pretty decent at the game.

I grabbed my ball and headed towards the lane. I took two swift steps, and released the ball. The ball rushed down the lane. It hit the middle of the pins and they all fell.

I turned around with a smirk present on my face. I saw a look of surprise on all the boy's face. I sat down beside Shawn, as he was still looking at me and awe.

"What's the matter Shawn?" I said acting as if I didn't know what was going on. "How did you do that?" I smiled. "Oh that. I was in a bowling league when I was younger. We won the championships." His eyes widened.

"Why didn't you tell us this before we came bowling. We don't even have a chance to win now." Matt said. "This isn't about winning guys. It's about having fun." I said. "Okay..." he smirked. "Then you take it easy." I laughed. "Yeah right. In your dreams guys. I'm here to win." I said as Brian got up to take his turn.

We finished the game and now we are turning in our shoes and paying for the games that we played. Of course I won all three games.

"That'd be $75." The worker said. Shawn got out his money to pay for the games since I had paid for the shoes. He gave the clerk a one hundred dollar bill.

"Thank you." Shawn said as he gathered his change from the worker. He turned around and bumped into someone. Almost knocking them over, but catching her before she fell.

As he caught her, his eyes widened.

"Katie?" They stared at each other for a while. "C-can I talk to you?" Katie said flustered. "Yeah. Uh...yeah." He said guiding her to a table at the side of the room.

I turned to Brian and Matt. "Who is that?" They both looked down at their feet. "Brian. Matt. Who is that?" They stayed silent. "I'm not asking again guys. Who is it?" Matt sighed.

"That's his ex girlfriend." I looked down and played with the ring in my finger. "He never told me about her."

"He doesn't really like to talk about it. She kind of, you know, dumped him. He was heart broken. So I'm not shocked he didn't tell you." We all stayed in an awkward silence, as the doubtful thoughts filled my head.

"But I'm sure you have nothing to be worried about. Shawn loves you." I smiled weakly. "Yeah. You're probably right."

Shawn's pov

"Katie?" I said in shock. I said as I held onto her, holding her up. She stared into my eyes, knowing the power she used to have over me.

"C-can I talk to you?" She said almost as flustered as I am. "Yeah. Uh...yeah." I managed to get out. I placed my hand on her back guiding her to a table on the side of the room.

"Why did you want to talk Katie?" I said with a little attitude. She grabbed my hand from across the table.

"Shawny boy. I know you're mad at me, but just listen to me. I made a mistake that night. I lay in my bed remembering all the times we spent together. Take me back Shawny...please." She said pouting her lip out.

She things she still has the power over me that she used to...that's funny. She thinks she can just take me back because she's feeling lonely. Im sorry that no one will take her sorry butt back, but it's a no from me.

"Listen Katie. I was heart broken over you for a long time, but then I met that beautiful girl over there." I said pointing at Y/n.

"Then I realized I deserved so much better than you treated me. She made me realize that I am meant to find someone great, I just hope I can be as great to her as she is to me. It's funny how you can come back to me now when you're feeling lonely. I'm glad you realize what you lost. And I know you will remember me, and I will always remember you, but only as another mistake I made in the past. Bye Katie. I have to go see my beautiful girlfriend." I smirked and walked away from the table proud.

I looked up to see Y/n looking at me, a worried look in her eye. I walked straight to her wrapping my arms around her.

I felt her tighten up under my touch. I pulled away to look into her eyes. "What's wrong?" I saw the tears in her eyes.

"You scared me. I-I was just scared you would pick her. I mean she's beautiful." Her words shocked me.

"Of course I picked you. You are the one I love. And don't ever doubt that you are beautiful     Y/n. You are the most beautiful girl I've ever seen, and you'd beat Katie any day." I said. I saw the smile tugging at the corner of her lips.

"Really?" She asked. "Of course." She started to lean in and so did I. "Okay. Okay. You guys can have your moment later when you're alone. But we are here right now, and we don't want to see it." Matt said gesturing to himself and Brian.

Y/n and I began laughing. I wrapped my arm around her. "Lets go."
