Working for Mr. Bennington

Court part 1

I'm using Harvey Specter from Suits for Emma's lawyer. Cause I think he is one awesome lawyer. Hope you enjoy this part.

Chester's pov:

It was Friday and I was getting ready to go to court. Mike and the guys were waiting for me in the living room. I felt a bit better when I opened up to them. I put my sunglasses on and I went downstairs and Lilly was waiting there too. They are calling her as one of the witnesses too. I slightly smile. And I looked down.

"They will get her out soon Chester. Just stay strong." Lilly says.

I nod at her and showed her that we should go. She, Brad and Dave got in my Jeep while Maddie, Mike and Joe went with Mike. Maddie was one of the witnesses too. With me, Piper and her brother Eddie. I get in and we all drove to court. 

I get out and everyone else gets out too. Chris was waiting for us at the door. We all went up the stairs and I greet Chris. He brought Piper to court. Piper smiles at me and then she hugs me. 

"Good luck." she says. I gave her half a smile and she lets go. 

We went inside and Emma's lawyer comes to us. I greet him.

"Chester. Good to see you." 

"You too Harvey."

"I'll try my best to get her out today." 

I sighed and nod. 

"I promise you I'll get her out." he says. I just nod.

"See you inside." he says and he leaves.

"We should go in too." Mike says holding his hand on my shoulder. I nod and we all went inside. 

We sat in the front row and they brought Emma in. I looked her way and I could see in her eyes that she is broken inside. She looks my way and I smiled at her. She smiles too. Harvey comes and he blocks our views. I looked down. I took my journal out and just draw random things. I know I can't really draw. It was more scribbles. Mike is more the drawing and painting artist. The judge comes in and we all stand and she shows us to sit. We sat down and she sits too. She takes the file on her stand. 

"We are starting the case of Emma Johnson today." she says and she puts the file down. The case was against Emma and the law so Harvey has to try to convince the judge to let Emma go because it was self defense. 

"You can start Harvey." she says and he gets up. He goes to the front. And I looked up. Emma was looking down. She looked very nervous. I wrote down something in my journal on one of the empty pages. She looks up and I showed it to her. "I love you." it said. She smiles and she blushes a little. It made me smile too. 

"I like to call Edward Johnson to the stand." Harvey says and the judge nods. Eddie gets up and he takes the stand. 

"Eddie. Tell me. You and Jason were best friends right?"

Harvey continues asking Eddie questions about Jason and Emma. I didn't really listen. I focused more on the things in my journal. 

"Thank you." Harvey says and Eddie comes to sit back down. 

"I would like to call Madison Cooper to the stand next." Harvey says. She walks passed me and she squeezed my hand gently. I looked up and gave her a fake smile. And she takes the stand. Harvey asks her a few questions too.

I start writing a song in that moment. But just some random words. Not really a complete song.

"Thank you." Harvey says and Maddie comes back to her seat. 

"Lets take a ten minute break and come back." the judge says. 

We all get up and went outside. Everyone talks but I shut them out. After the break we went back in and sit down. The judge comes in and they continue. They called Lilly to the stand. Harvey asked her a few questions and then they called Piper to the stand.

"She didn't do this. I did." Piper says. Harvey looks at her and everyone looks at her. Emma sighs.

"It doesn't matter." Harvey says and he asks her a few questions.

I decided to write the new song I was busy with. I turned to a new page and I start to write the words.

"Are you writing a new song?" Mike whispers to me. I nod while I write the last few words.

"Can I see it?" Mike asks. I smiled and nod. I give it to him. He reads it and he smiles. He gives it back to me.

"We call dips on it." He says smirking.

I chuckled.

"Fine." I said. 

"We are going to take a 10 minutes break again and then come back. Then I want Chester Bennington on the stand." The judge says and I looked at her. Harvey looks to me and he nods at the judge.

I sighed. We get up and went outside.
