Justin's Point of View

"Justin, come watch t.v with me." My girlfriend calls from the lounge room.

I groan.

"I'll be there in a minute."

I love her but she irritates me sometimes. How do I tell her she's clingy without hurting her feelings?

I reluctantly walk into the lounge room.

"Hey." He says sweetly.

"Hey." I say blankly.

I sit on the opposite side of the couch to her.

She starts slowly moving closer, like she always does.

She always has to be touching, holding or cuddling me somehow. It was cute at first but now I just try to get away from her.

She grabs onto my arm and sets her head on my shoulder.

Great, so my arm is going to fall asleep, again.

I don't know how much more of this I can take.

"I don't know if you should sit so close, I think I might be coming down with something." I lie.

"Oh poor baby." She feels my forehead.

"You don't seem to have a temperature?"

"Its pretty cool in here."

"Oh, well do you want me to get a blanket?"

"No I'm fine."

"Do you want some medicine?"

"No thanks."

"You sure, it might-"

"OH FOR GOODNESS SAKES (Y/N)! LEAVE ME ALONE! I SWEAR YOU'RE SO CLINGY AND IT'S SO ANNOYING!"

She looks at me shocked then starts to cry.

"(y/n), no, I'm sorry, I didn't mean it. I-"

"Forget it, I-I'm sorry."

I go to cup her face but she squats my hand away.

She stands up and walks upstairs.

"No (y/n), please come back." I chase after her.

She slams the door to the guest bedroom before I can get there.

I knock on it.

"(y/n), please open up, I'm sorry."

"Y-you wanted-d me t-to leave y-you a-alone, s-so I w-will." She sobs.

That breaks my heart.

"(y/n)." I sigh. "Please open the door."

All I hear is silence except her sobs.

I slide down the wall and listen to her cries.

I'm such an awful boyfriend.

She was just trying to love me and I yelled at her.

I could've just talked to her.

An Hour Later.

Its quiet now, she's probably fallen asleep now.

I walk downstairs and find the key to open the door.

I put it in the lock and open the door to see her tucked up in the bed, her face buried into the pillow.

I walk over and get under the other side of the bed.

I hug her from behind.

She starts to stir.

"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have yelled at you. I guess I just wanted a little space. It's not that I don't love your hugs, it's just sometimes I need some alone time. I'm really sorry I reacted that way, please forgive me. I love you."

She turns around and faces me.

"I-I guess I can get a bit close sometimes. But I can't help it. I feel insecure because I'm worried you'll leave me."

"(y/n), I'm not going to leave you. I love you. I didn't say anything because I didn't want to hurt your feelings, but I guess that didn't work out." I stroke her face. "Do you forgive me?"

"Yeah."

I kiss her nose.

"I love you so much." I whisper.

"I love you too."
